Area's Finest Country View Campground, Ogallala, Nebraska

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice location. Close to I-80 but far enough off the freeway to be quiet. We are getting a little more fussy after 15 days staying in RV parks. Friendly staff. This is a good stop for an one night stop. We stopped late and will be leaving early. We camped at Area's Finest Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

Colorado Springs KOA, Fountain, Colorado

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

My husband did not like the gravel RV spots. This is a very noisy location but looks like it may have a lot to do in the summer. Good location to spend one night as you are passing through. The staff was friendly and the store had cute stuff. The restrooms were clean. The internet was slow. Cable had limited channels. We camped at Colorado Springs KOA in a Motorhome.

Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

The staff person was very friendly and gave us a spot that was not next to the busy road. This park in right on Cerrillos Road. We were able to walk to a nice restaurant less than a mile a way. This is an older park but well maintained. I would recommend this park to anyone needing to stay in the area a short time. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Canyonlands RV Resort & Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

I thought I had reviewed this park but do not see it on the website so I will give my two cents worth again. We liked the trees and the closeness to a good restaurant. The day we arrived was the last day of the season so we had to move for the next night. We arrived on Sunday so we didn't have any problems with the school. We would probably stay here again because of the location. We camped at Canyonlands RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This was a really nice RV park. Everything was exceptional. They had a special with the train up the Canyon that I had researched prior to getting to the park. The reason for staying here was to see the Grand Canyon. We could have stayed up at the Canyon but did not know that until we took the train up to the south rim. Fun ride and good to get out of the RV for a day but pretty expensive. Next time I would stay up at the south rim RV park so we could have more time at the south rim. The only reason I gave an 8 instead of a 10 was that the staff person did not let us know that was an option but then again we did not ask. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tiger Run RV Resort, Breckenridge, Colorado

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Wow. Seemed a little pricey when we first arrived. But then again it is the only RV park in the area. We had seen this park from the road in the past but had never had the opportunity to stay here. This would be a great place to stay for a few days or more. An indoor pool, exercise room, hot tub and laundry. It was fun walking around the outside of the resort. Beautiful. Worth every cent. Very friendly staff. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

As first time RV campers we were very pleased with this campground. Everything was new and very clean. No trees which provided us a beautiful sky to look at. The stars were amazing. Very friendly staff and a nice gift shop and grocery area. We'd stay here again! We camped at Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort & Cabins in a Motorhome.

American RV Park & Kamp , Murdo, South Dakota

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice first stop for a 20 day RV trip. No restrooms were available that we are aware of. We only spent one night. There was no one in the office but when we found him across the street he was friendly and helpful. Next to the freeway but didn't both us in the upper RV spot. There was a laundry available. We camped at American RV Park & Kamp in a Motorhome.
