Duck Creek RV Park, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very well maintained park. Everything is extremely clean. The sites are set up well. No crossing over and awkward hookups. Everything is right where it should be. Set up is a breeze. They have nice big bathrooms for those who use the parks showers. Really nice. They have a dog park. What a refreshing amenity. Dogs get to stretch their legs and play without being tethered to their masters. If you're into quilting, this is a good place to stay. Quilt museum is just down the road, but you are out of the traffic area. Would certainly stay here again. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Wi-Fi was available, but not working at the site. Who cares!! We sat on benches and watched the barges go up and down the Mississippi! Fascinating!!! Loved it. Would definitely stay here, again. We felt safe, the owners and the one worker we met were EXTREMELY friendly. Everything was very neat and clean. No cable, but our antenna served us well since Memphis is right there. It's worth it just to watch the river traffic!! We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Truck Camper.

Georgia RV Park (formerly Country Boys RV Park), Commerce, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

If you just need an overnight stop with electricity, water and sewer then this park will do. They advertise Wi-Fi and cable, but AFTER we checked in we were told that Wi-Fi and cable don't always work at all sites. The following day, we listened to another camper complain that they had no cable or Wi-Fi and the excuses were entertaining, but not believable. It is a very old park in declining condition and the owners are not doing maintenance. The bathrooms are usable. Not terrible, but our elbows touched both sides of the shower walls. Very small and cramped and we had to search stalls for one that had a functioning shower head. Would only stay here again in a pinch. We camped at Georgia RV Park (formerly Country Boys RV Park) in a Truck Camper.

Fall Creek Falls State Park, Spencer, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is the nicest state park we've ever been in. This is a fantastic park with lots to do and see. We are definitely returning to this park. Facilities, sights, rangers, etc. All get a 10. If you just have to have TV, Wi-Fi, and cell phones, you may not agree because that's not available. This is a state park with plenty of more interesting things to do than watch a TV, talk on a phone, or play video games. We camped at Fall Creek Falls State Park in a Truck Camper.
