Great host. Greeted us as we arrived, gave us every brochure on the area, then escorted us down to our site. We had a pull-through right next to the river, which was great. I-5 was across the river so there was some traffic noise. Not too bad. Tight turns getting into the park and to our spot with autos parked a bit into the lanes. Gorgeous grounds and well-maintained. We only stayed one night but we'd come back again.

The park has a great woodsy feel to it with the forest all around you. Short walk to the nearby reservoir for fishing. The host greeted us and showed us, on the map, where to see sights, get gas, do some shopping, etc., which was very helpful. We had site 7 which had a large tree blocking the side so we could not quite pull in with our coach and trailer. It took us 2 hours to get set up. I should've asked for another site more strongly. There were some back-ins available and I had to unhook anyway. But, the staff men were terrific in getting my trailer hooked back up. They had free hot dogs and s'mores Saturday night which was a nice touch. Nice, short drive up to Crater Lake from here. We'd stay here again.

Sites are way too tight. No "front porch" area at all. I saw people squeezing their chairs onto the 4 foot wide section next to their coach. The pull-through for us barely fit our 40' and trailer. It was a nice looking park and neat as can be, but way too cramped for our liking. Also, not much help at the front desk when it came to asking questions about Multnomah Falls and such. We will try another park next time. The speed bumps are some of the lowest we've seen. That was nice

Sweet park in a valley off 101. One mile down a road to find the park. Office lady was very nice. Site was nice, long and level for us. 30 amp only, and cash/check only. Turkeys and deer and rabbits come visit nightly and in the morning. We'd stay here again.

The good: quiet, clean sites, clean bathrooms. The bad: We asked for a pull-through but they said they could not guarantee them, but there was one available when we showed up...did not get it. Backing in was a bit hairy. LONG drive to Yosemite from here. 38 miles of twisty up-and-down. The road coming up to the park from the valley had the most severe, steep switchbacks we've encountered. 15 MPH all the way up for 5 miles. Wi-Fi was awful and no Verizon at all. Next time we'll go over to Mariposa way to stay.

Check in was fine. Would have liked a "Welcome and thank you for staying here". Later in our stay, we asked to stay another night and the front desk was helpful in making that happen. Site was long enough for us. Great views of the Sierra Mountains. Very nice gift/food shop. Did not use the bathrooms....too far away. Easy in and out.

The people at the front desk are great. Very helpful as are the staff around the park. We called to come in early by one day but the check-in booth did not have us so he found us a spot. We followed his golf cart down only to find that our spot was already taken. He called and found us another spot where we would not have to move or unhook our trailer and it worked out great. The spots are just long enough for us to fit our 40' and trailer into. They have some pull-throughs that are 100' long but it's all concrete everywhere around those. Not too attractive. A lot of full-time or long-stay people. We hardly saw anyone out and about.

Nice, clean, attractive park just as you get into Tallahassee from the east. Easy pull-throughs...nice and long. We have 61 feet for ours. Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff and an easy off and on I-10. The Wi-Fi is about the best we've found...and free. We'd recommend this place.

Wonderful location to visit the area and walk on the beach...off season. It must be a mad house during the summer. This is about the only place that handles big rigs and they advertise pull-throughs, which is true, but they just barely fit our 40'. We stashed our trailer next to the restrooms. Great view out the front window. The lady in the in-out booth was terrific. Helpful with local knowledge and directions. Showers were a bit odd. You pushed a button and got some water, then it stopped, you pushed again, more water, etc...until you finished your shower. Level sites, gravel. Fun to watch all the fisher-people at the water. We'd come again.

We had a 40' pulling a trailer so our sewer hookup on site 9 was waaaaay behind us. I had to go buy another hose to get to it. My hoses were about as long as my coach! This place was not first-come-first-served. They assigned you a spot, even though others were available. Water pressure was low, only about 30psi, according to my neighbor. The mobile home park next door had a road that led out to the main road that was a bit scary in that the cars would zoom out and in too fast for my liking. They could use some speed bumps. I agree with the other reviews that $35 is a bit high for no bathrooms or showers and low water pressure. Nice room between the sites and level. Close to the interstate but at night it got very quiet. Nice folks at the office. We'd stay here again.

This is not a resort RV by any stretch of the imagination but....it's SO close to the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns, we find it worth it. We've stayed here three times with our 40' motorhome and like the quirkiness of the place. Yes, it crowded. Yes, it's kinda rural. Yes, the bathrooms suck (we're self contained). BUT, the views at night and in the morning are wonderful....vistas everywhere. The staff is a bit odd but helpful. A bit of advice: when you arrive, go find your spot, THEN go in and register. Secondly, drive into the entrance of the "park", stop and walk to find your spot. Try for an end spot...more room. We're going to come here again this spring.

Pros: easy access, close to Asheville and activities, clean, helpful staff. Cons: weak water pressure, crowded, no place to park vehicles...many times cars and trucks had to be moved when someone new tried to back in. Only one lane in and out. Highway right next to us was very noisy. There are three areas, top, bottom, and next to the road. Next time we'll stay next to the local road...not so crowded. Not sure if we'll come back here...very awkward and cramped.

Park is 45 and older, very quiet, terrific hiking paths through the woods and a LARGE area to run your dogs way away from anyone. The pull-through that we had was somewhat unlevel but not a problem. They used to be level and the owner is going to level them up again. Easy access to main roads. Very faint highway noise in the distance but not an issue. No bathrooms or showers. Very helpful owner and help staff. They pick up your trash twice a day and make huge ready-to-light fires....all we had to do was bring our matches. We stayed four nights and would stay here again.

We pulled in here to stay one night and ended up with two nights. LONG pull-throughs for all you big rigs towing. We have an 18' trailer that we put our van on and it fit just fine. Wi-Fi was by TengoInternet...but it was the first time it worked great. The owner talked me through why it doesn't work most places and offered me to try it for free and, if I like it, would pay him the $1 a day fee. I liked it. Fast and smooth. Great owners. They have put so much into the place. It's easy access to the interstate. A little highway noise near the front of the park, but that's all. Terrific large area for the dog park. We would stay here again.

This was our second time staying here...not sure what the other review is talking about when it comes to Big Rig unfriendly. We have a 40' motorhome and pulling an 18' auto transport trailer and we fit into site 2 just fine. Water pressure was great. The view of the lake in front was terrific. Shower was a one-person only but huge and clean. Owner has added over 10 sites since last year and is looking to improve the park. There are more convenient RV parks right off the highway, but this one is quiet and peaceful. Nice place to stay if you want to just relax. The sites had 6-foot fences next to the hookups so your neighbor doesn't have to see them while sitting at their picnic table. Nice touch. I wish more parks did this. We will stay here again.
