Kentucky Horse Park Campground, Lexington, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park in some beautiful country. Staff were continually working to keep park nice. Just drive in, pick a site and go to capmground store to register. Senior discount for those 62 and above. The only reason it's not a 10 park is a lack of sewer hook-up. They do have 2 large dump sites. We camped at Kentucky Horse Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

One of 3 RV parks on Music City Blvd. I like this park better than the KOA down the road. Sites (except for the 2 pull thru's I saw) are on the small side. Roads are wide so the back in sites are easy to get into. I had to park my truck across the front of the site to be off the road. 12 of the sies have 50 amp service. Some of the sites do not have sewer service. Park is very clean & well maintained. They have live entertainment during the summer. Although I was in town on business, this would be a good base camp to explore the Nashville area from. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Crossville / I-40 KOA , Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a new KOA still under renovations. About 4 miles off I-40 in the Cumberland Ridge area. This is going to be a nice KOA in a beauiful setting. All the services were new. The entrance is a little tight but passable. Exits are plenty roomy. There are going to be pull thru sites but they were not ready during my overnight stay. Back-ins easy to get in to. They told me they would have 100 sites when everything is done. I would stay here again. We camped at Crossville / I-40 KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
