Bill Plemmons RV Campground, Raleigh, North Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Just a place to park and sleep if your visiting others in town. All sites are back in, and most of the camping area is dedicated to storage with a few monthly residents. We stay here when visiting as it is safe and there are no other options anyway. We camped at Bill Plemmons RV Campground in a Motorhome.

A great place to stay if you are touring the area and just need a place to sleep. Sites are easy in and out for big rigs, people are friendly and the price was reasonable. If your with your family looking for a vacation, find another campground. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

Carlsbad KOA, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

As is typical of all KOA's, this was a great park. Very clean and neat as a pin. Sites were long and plenty wide. Had a great dog park and the spa was clean, hot and beautiful. Folks were friendly and helpful. If in the area, this is the best park. We camped at Carlsbad KOA in a Motorhome.

What a great little in town RV park. People couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Park was exceptionally clean and neat. Sites were respectable in size and maneuvering was simple. We were escorted to our site and they even offered to help hook up. Would stay here again. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

About as good as it gets. The only negative I could find was the $5.99 a day for WiFi, at their daily rate, they should be embarrassed about this. All paved sites, you could eat off the grounds, great dog runs, wide sites, great pool and other services. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA, Petaluma, California

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Never disappointed with a KOA and this one is no exception. Sites were wide and easy pull through's however, check out the site first as some require a lot for jacking to level. We had to lift our motorhome wheels off the ground. Other than that, people were very friendly and helpful. WiFi sucked, but that seems to be the norm. I don't even know why campgrounds even advertise it. All in all, a great campground for big rigs. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Motorhome.

Just about as good as it gets for the north east. Friendly, beautiful park, wide sites, paved sites, decent cable TV, outstanding pool and water park area, great cafe. The only negative is the horrible WiFi. Otherwise this would be a 10. We camped at Lake-in-Wood Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
