The Original Suwannee River Campground, Old Town, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Bathhouse is disgusting. Not cleaned since we have been here. Mold in soap dispenser. Commode stopped up and not fixed. Horrible smell. Not handicapped accessible. Large person could not use bathroom or showers. The place is rather junky. Would not camp here again. The owners are very nice, but the place needs lots of TLC. We camped at The Original Suwannee River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground, Romance, West Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $25.00

Managers and staff were unfriendly and often not there. Bathrooms were not clean. Missing signs at the bridge so it's easy to miss the turnoff. Roads need paving to the campground--bumpy. Tree branches hanging down along the way. My positive comment: there is a beautiful church by the lake. We camped at Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Awesome RV park! Beautifully landscaped with paved roads and large concrete pads with lots of space between campers. Very quiet and a very peaceful atmosphere. It's located near Crooked Creek State Park and Crooked River. The owners are friendly and helpful. Plan to stay the winter. We camped at A Big Wheel RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We pay a yearly fee for a site by Swan Lake. The view is fantastic...the small church reflects in the water. The lake is full of fish and there are 2 females swans and 3 white ducks. My husband enjoys feeding the swans...they eat from his hand. Such a peaceful and serene place to camp. The camp has a swimming pool, zip line, cabins, tent area, paint ball area, trails for bike riding or walking. Must visit to appreciate this campground, The managers are helpful and friendly. We camped at Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
