Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina, Big Pine Key, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here four months. Dec - March. Last time we'll go there. We have been there for 10 winters in a row. They have made some improvements but still a lot of problems. Coral gravel roads, dust from cars and golf carts. Cubans playing music and talking loud. This winter the pool heater wasn't working for 2 months. People flush out there boat engines on there site. Fumes, noise, and water puddles then park the boat on their site. Electric was off 3 times, Water was off 10 times once for three hours. And during that time they put notes on campers doors about a BOIL ORDER one was for two days. People had to wait if they had clothes in the washing machine and if you were taking a shower, tough luck. Office people were nice and does a great job with activity's. For the money we spend there it's time to leave. They'll find someone to take my place. Then they'll leave to. It's a big corporation so all there after is the money. We camped at Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina in a Travel Trailer.

In & Out RV Park, Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here on the way home from FL. It was OK for one night. Don't know if I will stay there again. It was close to the highway and there was truck noise at night. The driveway had a steep incline coming from off the road. I could see where some units scraped the bottom there were marks all over. Glad I saw that and pulled in on an angle and out the same way. Gas station is first and then the campground behind it. What a dive ! Low class people with awnings ripped. Stuff all over. We camped at In & Out RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fiesta Key RV Resort, Long Key, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

This park has grass site's a with concrete patio. The sites can sometimes be close together. That is when your slideouts are out, and they put someone next to you. Last weekend my slide was ten inches from the rear end of a motorhome. The campground is run down. It used to be a KOA they sold five years ago. Then KOA ran it for some corp. Than was sold to Morgan RV. Every year they say there going to spend a lot of money and fix it up. But that never happens every year it's more lies. On the weekends it get's noisy and there is loud music. There are some seasonal people from Miami, that have Golf carts and trailers with lean to set up. They turn up the Latin music. Quiet time is 11PM but that doesn't mean anything. There are rules, but nobody here enforces them. Small kids from Miami also drive golf carts in the park. Not sure if I want to come back. There is nothing to do here, no activities. Morgan's web site says activities coming. But that been on there for three years. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a nice park if you like coral. there is no grass in this park. They have a lot of activities during the winter. The only problem is on the weekends when the Cubans from Miami come down. They talk loud and turn their music up. I guess they think there the only ones here. They have setups with campers, golf carts, boats,Large covered areas with bar's and chairs and couches inside. It looks like tent city. They also bring other family's with, and park on other peoples sites. And also on empty sites. It ends up being nice and quiet Sunday evening when they leave. Then it starts again the next Friday night when they come back. Glad we don't stay during the summer. We camped at Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.
