Level Sites. Wonderful river view. 18 miles from downtown Cody, 30 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Restaurant and bar on grounds. Breakfast buffet available for fee (discounted if staying there). Pool and hot tub available. Would stay again when in the area. Corals for horses. Not much for teens to do.

Date of Stay:

Bare Bones campground. No Frills. Expensive for what is available. More like a parking lot with services. Office is a convenient store for gas station. I guess it is a good location for fishing. Staff are nice.

Corporate owned, need I say more? I was forced to prepay for a gate key $10 on my charge card. And the gate was left open the first night and the the second night I had to open the gate for another camper who was a late check-in and did not have a card yet. The mini golf was OK but not fully maintained. If I wasn't warned by a seasoned seasonal about the exit route I would have taken out a retaining wall. Egress could be improved. Totally prepaid and sites assigned by rookies. I was put on a 40' site but if the site across from me was used II couldn't have pulled out. Seasonals are the majority.

Campground? Driveway up to the area nice plantation home, which is not the parking area. No interaction with staff. You pick up your paperwork from a mailbox, fill it out, put it back in a mailbox. Any questions or problem is a phone call away. Laundry room open, but office is locked and not staffed. Water pressure blew the female connection off my hose and also the campers site next to me. Under power lines and one picnic table for all sites near the pond.

Located right off the highway, real close to Rt 66, across the street from the Cherokee Casino. Nice, curtious staff. Game room, well board games and books. Sites narrow. Awning to neighbors Door narrow. Location is the key though. Short drive or walk to enjoy the area. Very nice country site for motorcycle riding.

After a long, 15 hour, drive this was a great place to land. The Staff and other campers were helpful and nice. If I am ever in this area again this is the place to stop. Close to area attractions and on ground facilities are very pampering. The only problem is getting there, road construction makes it a minor inconvience, but you can't blame this camping resort.

Nice Campground. 30 amp sites are at the bottom and are rustic. 50 amp sites are first come first serve. Longer rigs look at site exit due to possible dragging rear of rig. Things close early so enjoy in the morning. Stayed here June of 2006.

I have camped here twice once in Oct 2003 and again in Oct 2005. Adult lounge comfortable, rec area nice. Staff very quick to address problems and correct. If visiting follow directions to campground from the web site or call, mapquest tends to send you up very steep road. Besides the Lakota Wolf Preserve, which can create a nice atmosphere when the wolves howl at night, there is access to the Appalacian trail for a hike to the Delaware Water Gap, which is a very nice view, and Sunfish Pond.

A true resort. Pontoon boats with or without slides, paddle boats, boat slips, a floating wall climb and numerous other recreational needs or wants available, (for a fee). Family owned and operated and the entire staff are all very pleasant and helpful. I was put in a site with a wrap around deck and with a wonderful water view. Not as expensive as a 5 star hotel, but just as if not nicer than one. Wouldn't think twice about returning. The only problem is that I live to far away to visit monthly.

Great area for a campground. To bad my site was waterfront property. Did I mention it wasn't supposed to be? It didn't rain before or during my stay but my site was nothing but mud. Sites are not level, and the staff could be more friendly. Will not go again unless there's major changes to the condo drainage happening.

One of the nicest KOAs I camped at. Clean and a very pleasant staff made my stay enjoyable, and my site very large and shaded. Close to Charleston but far from noisy. Will go back when in area.
