The Great Outdoors RV Resort, Franklin, North Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and were only 1 of 2 campers in the entire park. The park owner checked us in and walked up to our site to make sure that we were all right, even told us to use the adjoining site to park our vehicle since the park was empty. Everything was clean and spotless, roomy sites and all the amenities. Plenty of places to go and see outside the campground; we rode bikes, played outside with the kids and explored the campground. They have an outdoor pool and nice clubhouse that is available for use. I would recommend this campground to anyone, and they will be seeing us again. We camped at The Great Outdoors RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, spacious sites compared to the other beach campgrounds. The store was well stocked and had everything one would need. Must pay for wi-fi. We thought it was free, but found out you must pay for it. They need to build another pool and lazy river. When the park is full, there are entirely too many people for the existing pool and lazy river. The staff was helpful and attentive. Would like to have seen park security patrolling more in the park. Beach was very accessible and clean for the most part. We would recommend this park and may stay there again. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.
