A really great park for one night this time of year despite the heat, or any time of year. It's away from town with very large sites and lots of privacy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great places to walk the dogs, too. The free Internet service was good but slow at times. Our only complaint was the lack of cable TV. We'd easily stay here again.

A great spot for a one nighter this time of year. The park is located just outside of town with easy access from I-40. It has lots of privacy, spacious sites, and friendly staff. Our only complaint is that they use a private company for their on-site Internet service that charges $2.95 per 24 hours.

This is a very good park for a one night stay if you are passing through the area or longer if you want to enjoy the reservoir. The sites are a bit tight and the park feels a little crowded, but the new, very friendly owners are trying to make the best of what they now own. Cell phone service should improve with a new wireless tower across the lake. The internet service, which was spotty, will hopefully improve as well.

A simple, rustic campground with all the basics in a very beautiful setting. The sites are on a bit of slope, requiring some leveling of our rig. We stayed here for one night on our way through the area.

This is a very basic park, nothing fancy. Gravel sites, cement bathrooms and showers, and all hooks ups, though the 30 amp service did not work at our site, but the 20 amp sufficed. They only have one washer and dryer, both of which are expensive and the latter not very effective. The highway noise would have been bothersome had it not been for the intense rain all night.

A nice clean, well maintained park with very friendly and helpful owners. It sits adjacent to the Alsea River with a nice dog walk down to the river. It is a couple of miles out of town so it was quiet but easily accessed Hwy 101. All the utilities worked well, bathrooms and laundry were clean, and the sites were roomy. We would stay here again.

Great location for our area sightseeing. The staff was very friendly, and there are good areas for dog walks. Our only minor complaints were expensive laundry machines and narrow pads, so it can be a bit wet or muddy around your site after it rains, which it does frequently. We would, however, stay here again, as it is the most spacious park we saw in the area.

Well maintained park with spacious sites and concrete pads. It has lots of grassy areas that created a nice ambience. Easy walk to the Evergreen Air and Space Museum. We'd stay here again.

One of the nicest parks we've stayed at. Incredibly well maintained, large roomy sites with a sense of privacy, and friendly staff. We only stayed one night, as we were passing through the area, but we would definitely use this park as a base camp if we were exploring the area.

Very crowded park. Units are packed in close together with little room for parking vehicles. As a result, many vehicles are parked in the roadways, making it tight for maneuvering around the park. Other than that, it was quiet and bathrooms were nice. No discounts are offered. We would probably not stay here again given a choice.

We chose this park for a three night stay because of its location as a base for our Tucson activities. Though it is located near the interstate, the traffic noise was barely noticeable. The park staff was very friendly and helpful, the park is quiet and well maintained, and there is a great doggie walk area next to the park and along the river bed. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here one night on our way through El Paso. The staff was friendly and gave us a spot with empty spaces on both sides, which was nice. The park seems to be very well run with a large number of monthly and long-term rigs. The biggest downside to the park, however, is it's location right next to Interstate 10. The traffic noise all night is bothersome if you're not used to it. Unfortunately, there are few choices for RV parks in the El Paso area. If the park was in a better location, we would consider staying here again.

We stayed a week at this campground as a base for day hiking in Big Bend NP. It was a very convenient location with friendly staff and great places to walk our dogs. Despite the large number of RVs and motorcycles coming and going, it was relatively quiet compared to other places we've stayed. Like all campgrounds in the area, it is in a low desert environment that is dry and dusty and lacking in vegetation and shade trees. We looked at the other campgrounds in the area during our travels and feel this is definitely the best of the bunch. Although the Internet connection was intermittent at times, we plan to stay here when we next visit Big Bend NP.

Great location on the river and close to town. Park staff were very friendly and helpful. This is one of the best maintained and run parks we've ever seen. We'll definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Great location for being so close to Denver, next to Prospect Park and a greenbelt area with walking trails. Park manager was very friendly and helpful and more than made up for a mistake in our reservations. One minor dislike was being assigned to a specific bathroom, which if in use, would not allow us to access one not in use. Overall, a well maintained park, probably the best in the area, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
