Being 55+ we appreciate the age and other restrictions more than previous reviewers. We like the people and place well enough we have purchased a park model and are making this place our permanent home. If you're looking for perfect, you'll never find it -- but for the price you would have trouble finding a better deal and nicer people. Beautiful park very close. Rural setting, but close enough to the city and any kind of shopping you could want. Train and highway nearby, but noise is not overwhelming and is hardly noticeable at night. For the senior, there is something for everyone here.

This is a great campground all around. The site is beautiful, the staff is helpful, and pleasant. There may be "fancier" RV parks, but for the money this place has everything you need for getting away from the northern winters, or just stopping for the night. One other note - it is a 55+ park, so it may not be "family friendly"' but for us, that's one of the main attractions.
