Zane Grey RV Park (55+ park), Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

You can tell they take great pride in the park. All gravel road and sites. Level with plenty of room for big rigs. Even with the trees we were able to get satellite. Pet friendly, but dogs were not allowed on the grass. The off leash area is gravel. I wonder why most RV parks refuse to make the off leash areas grass? That is my only negative with this park. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Zane Grey RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with paved roads and wide gravel sites. Lots of trees which made it feel like camping, but still got satellite. Nice trails leading from the park into the forest. Had a supersite with table, fire pit. Narrow roads but still got a big rig with tow vehicle around safely. Very nice office staff. Friendly people in the park. Had a good time and would stay here again. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Motorhome.

Desert's Edge RV Village, Phoenix, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I did a lot of research to find a park in the Phoenix area and glad I settled on this one. It sits right off I-17, yet there is no road noise. The sites are gravel with patio and table. Pet friendly with dog treats in the office. Easy access to get around the area. Recommend and we will stay here again. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Motorhome.

The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina), Blythe, California

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice KOA. The office was friendly, check in quick and easy. Rate reflects a 30 day stay. Pet friendly. A number of long term units, but people were very friendly. Grass was brown, but I hear that it just happens this time of year. Road noise from I-10, but nothing too bsd. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Motorhome.

Pioneer RV Park, Hermiston, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The park claims to be pet friendly, but only one small patch of grass in a corner, and I guess everyone has decided to not pick up after their dog. The sprinkler comes on nightly and hit 5 feet up on the side of the RV. Two guest parking spaces for 116 site. I would estimate 80% of the residents are long term. Sites and roads are narrow. On the plus side; the cable is good, easy access off the freeway, close to downtown, the long term residents seem nice and the rigs are in good repair. Feels safe. Don't think we will stay here again. We camped at Pioneer RV Park in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is our third visit to this park. We had a supersite, and they are worth the extra expense. The park is clean, well manicured. Quite a few long term units, but it does not have any of that feel. Great places to walk the dog. Office staff is friendly. One of our favorites. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Motorhome.

San Jacinto Riverfront RV Park, Highlands, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV resort. Highly recommend the sites near the water. Most waterfront sites have hot tubs. Staff was helpful and friendly. Park is all paved. The only downside was the garbage. They are a dumpster short, and the trash was over flowing a couple of times a week, with garbage on the ground. They were putting in a new pool near the waterfront when we were there. I would stay here again. We camped at San Jacinto Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Admiralty RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here a year ago and had a completely different experience than we had this trip. The maintenance has gone downhill. We raked the leaves up ourselves because they were so deep. Our dog would not walk on the brown grass, even in the dog walk areas, because of all the stickers. None of the sites were cleaned after one RV left and the next arrived. Not sure I would stay here again. We camped at Admiralty RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Hilltop RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Had a great experience at this park. We lost the transmission in our tow vehicle 20 miles from the park. The owners are the nicest, most helpful people I have ever met. They went far beyond my wildest expectations. The park is spotless; the roads and sites are gravel; the spaces wide and the hookups new, clean and easy to use. This will be the only park I consider when stopping in Fort Stockton. I give the staff and park the highest recommendation. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Emerald Desert RV Resort, Palm Desert, California

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

Expected to only stay here for a week, we are now on week five. A beautiful park! The resort is well manicured, the staff is friendly, and a good selection of activities. The reservation system needs an overhaul, but it is a minor issue. It is one of the best resorts we have stayed in. Highly recommended. We camped at Emerald Desert RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Winchester Bay RV Resort, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

This is our favorite RV park of all time. You can have a site on the ocean side or marina side. I prefer the marina, since I can walk ten steps from the RV and catch some crabs from the shore. The park is beautiful and the showers/restrooms are immaculate. If you are traveling the Oregon coast, this park is a "must stay". We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.
