Henderson Beach State Park, Destin, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

PRO; Close to beach, fairly well maintained. CONS; NO security in campground area-park has a day use area, and the campground with no checkpoint separating the two. Many times I have seen people who do not belong in the camping area driving up and using the bath facilities/showers. Plenty of park personal during the day, no one around at night. East end of beach has been taken over by people from a expensive new nearby hotel who don't seem to have to follow any park rules, such as no alcohol, and treat the area as their own private resort complete with beach service and waitress services. Very long line to get into the park during the day. We camped at Henderson Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This campground only looks good in it's own advertising. The sites were small, cramped and very dusty (no stone base or grass). The pool was a disgusting dark green and my kids would not go near it. Restrooms were dirty, showers were cold, paper towels not refilled. No working machines in laundry. Staff would not honor the advertised AAA discount-said it wasn't valid if I booked online! Campground is an hour to Yosemite. Would only reccomend this place as an absolute last resort We camped at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging in a Tent Trailer.
