Date of Stay: November, 2010
My husband and myself along with our two little dogs, stayed here for the first time in November 2009 for our anniversary and was very pleased with the campground. So for our anniversary this year we decided to return again to the park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This park is very clean, the lots are are very spacious, concrete, with lights on your electric boxes with the lot number very clear which help when you arrive late. i don't think there is a bad place to park, since most all lots have a view of the Mississippi river. Some lots though are better than others but well worth staying there. There is a concrete sidewalk along the river with benches, and well lit for night walks along the river. This sidewalk connect the park to Vidalia community center, which is good and bad, during our stay it was all decorated for Christmas, and the only bad thing with the park, is the fact that it is not very secure and anyone can enter the park either from the river walk or the main entrance. Each lot has a nice grass area with picnic table. The park is close to many shops and places to eat. Great place to walk dogs if you travel with dogs. If I had to change anything about the park would be securing the entrance to the park both from the main entrance and the river walk, and having the sidewalk to continue to the far end of the property. It is a great place to stay. We have already made plans to return to the park again.
