Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Super clean park - well maintained, and the host is very nice to deal with. This is our second time to stay here - we stayed for a week for work a few years back and then returned for a month for work this year. Nice and quiet - great views of the sunsets and the mountains. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Haven Retreat, Indianapolis, Indiana

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean park. I checked in over the phone, but they put me in the perfect site for my big rig. The site was very close to level and plenty wide enough to spread out. Utilities are well laid out. Nice lake - and convenient to everything in Indy. I will definitely stay here again. We camped at Lake Haven Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Hill State Park, Cedar Hill, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of our favorite parks. The recent improvements to the big rig sites are great! Our rig is 45' and we have plenty of room. Good walking trails and you are right on the water. Marina inside the park with restuarant. One of our most visited parks. We camped at Cedar Hill State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverway RV Park, Llano, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Brand new park right on the Llano River! Nice spacing between sites and immaculately maintained park. Sites are very level, gravel, but with good grass. Approximately one mile into town, the road takes you right to the town square. Fast internet and super friendly management! We have stayed at all of the other parks in town and this one blows them away. Rate reflects weekly rate. Monthly rate is far less. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Badu Park, Llano, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing but a parking lot with lines here, but it is right on the water. There were two campers when we were there -- us and one other. Pay on the honor system, first come, first served. We camped at Badu Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mission RV Park, El Paso, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

In a word: TRASHY!! This place is like MadMax beyond the Landfill. Lots of permanent residents with more junk piled up around their units than you can imagine. A guy with two loud birds was right across from us: the birds were kept outdoors. Someone was living in a retired bread truck, makeshift shelters, rickety porches, storage units made out of plywood, dogs outside on chains, tarps on top of RV's, tin nailed to RV roofs, just piles and piles of pure worthless crap. You name it, this park had it! Laundry room was old with old machines: fully half of them had out of order signs on them, even more didn't work. Dog friendly?? Not exactly. You couldn't walk a dog on the street in the front half of the park! Parks like this need a good kick in the butt for making RV'rs look like trailer trash. Never again: you can keep going to the park in Anthony for a much quieter, cleaner place to stay. We camped at Mission RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park), Baker City, Oregon

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, quiet little park. We were here about a week in the snow -- easy access to the interstate, super nice people in the office! Greatest dog run in the country! It's like a forty acre horse pasture. Makes it really nice to be able to turn the dogs loose and let them run! Really only have two complaints -- one, the laundry room is only open when the office is open. Crazy, right? It is in it's own little building, but they lock that sucker up when they leave. Two, the bathroom is terrible. Nice and clean, but they really need to get rid of the urinal and make the toilet area bigger. You literally cannot sit on the toilet without the door hitting your knees. Then, the door to the bath opens in and guess what it hits? That's right, the door that is now touching your knees! Probably wouldn't been as big of a deal had our water not been frozen, but it is what it is. We camped at A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Granite Lake Premier RV Resort, Clarkston, Washington

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and clean park, conveniently located right next door to Costco and Wal-Mart. Great walking trail along the river! Laundry wasn't great: the machines were slightly older and not working very well when we were here. It was nice waking up on the water, even the interior sites have a nice view thanks to the layout. It's not the park's fault, but Clarkston does have an odor. Just never got used to the smell of the paper mill. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Pheasant Ridge RV Resort, Wilsonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

I have to say we agree with the reviewer who mentioned the number of signs. This park was way too uptight for our tastes. Pet friendly is definitely a stretch: everywhere you look there are signs that say no pets in this area. We even called the office and they said no pets on the hiking trail. The reason? Poison ivy. Makes no sense to us either. They got our money once, but probably never again. The spot was really cramped even though we were really specific about the length of our unit and vehicle. The water spigot was so high we couldn't extend the slide all the way out. Overall, not even close to a 10 rating for this park. We are practically full-timers and these may be the most uptight and restrictive folks we have ever met in a campground. For all the rules, it's really not that great of a park. On the upside: has clean showers and reasonably priced laundry. We camped at Pheasant Ridge RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Gig Harbor RV Resort, Gig Harbor, Washington

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed our stay at this park! We stayed in 13C in the lower part of the campground. Super clean showers, nice folks in the office, great location. I could go on and on! Nice and quiet. Walking path takes you right to the harbor. The entire place has a great, small-town, friendly feel. Super clean laundry, pet friendly, excellent mail handling, propane service. We were there during a really bad wind/snow storm and they got the park cleaned up really quickly afterward. Can't wait to return! We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed for one month back in October. Can't wait to go back to this one again! Over-the-top friendly staff, clean facilities -- really a dog-friendly park, they even have a professional grade grooming area that you can use. Great facilities - nice pool, maintenance is really good about keeping the park neat and clean. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Travel Trailer.
