Mayberry Campground, Mount Airy, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. We stayed 2 nights over a holiday weekend. Campground was full and we ended up with a tight space that someone had canceled. Camp staff very friendly. The campsites are around a small lake on various levels which was cool looking. Due to being full, Wi-Fi was not working at least for us. Cable TV had over 70 channels. AT&T and Verizon worked well. The sites were also nice and level. This was the cleanest campground we have been to in a long time. We camped at Mayberry Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice campground for passing through or staying a couple of days. Staff was very friendly. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all of the sites. You had to go to the office area. Verizon and AT&T worked well. TV reception on an over the air antenna was OK. Site was nice and level. We camped at Jolly Acres RV Park and Storage in a Motorhome.

Crossing Creeks RV Resort (formerly Mountain View RV Resort), Blairsville, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The park is still in transition. When we stayed, there were 10 -12 sites occupied. There are very few services at the park. It is located in a beautiful location in Blairsville. One day the park will be great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a little get together dinner on Friday night with everyone in the park. They only accept cash or check for payment. We camped at Crossing Creeks RV Resort (formerly Mountain View RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Tampa South RV Resort, Ruskin, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The staff at Tampa South RV Resort were great, very friendly and helpful. We wanted the Passport America rate and ended up with a local rate which was even better. The sites seemed a little tight when we first looked at them, but no problem moving around with the motorhome. The sites were nice and wide which was nice since we had family visit while we were there. A lot a permanent people there, but all of the units were fairly new and kept up very nicely. They are located right on a river with a great little dock and viewing platform. Next door is a local park that offered a great place to walk our dogs. We camped at Tampa South RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Compton Ridge Campground , Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Compton Ridge over Thanksgiving. The park managers were great and so were their staff! On Thanksgiving day, they hosted lunch for about 100 people that were staying at the campground. What a great treat, they provided the meats and everyone brought a covered dish. After Thanksgiving, the campground emptied out with the exception of us and our friends. We had the run of the campground for a few days until we left. The staff could not have been friendlier, the place was the cleanest campground we have been in in a long time! We camped at Compton Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.
