Branson Lakeside RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first time in Branson and we had a great time! The campground staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The construction on the bridge is finished, so we did not have to deal with any noise. The views of the lake are very pretty especially in the morning with the rising mist. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Fe Park, Chanute, Kansas

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We agree with the other reviews. Nice place for a short visit. It was very quiet with minimum road noise. Did not use the bathrooms, but did look at them. There is one stool, one shower and one sink all separated by a partial concrete block wall. No privacy doors and no lock on the main door. Being near a public park, not my idea of secure. Most people including us were there to visit the NuWa factory. We would stay there again. We camped at Santa Fe Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Magnolia RV Park Resort, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice place for a short term stay. It's a clean campground, the sites are somewhat close together, but the staff was nice, and the bathroom clean. The biggest drawback was the truck noise past the campground. There's a large sand pit across the street and the trucks are in and out all day including Sunday. The noise is a bit annoying. We would stay here again. We camped at Magnolia RV Park Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

What a great place. Nicely landscaped, large sites and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night. Definitely a 10. We had breakfast in the cafe and had some of the best pancakes we've ever had. The menu may be small, but the food was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lordsburg KOA, Lordsburg, New Mexico

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good place to stay for a night. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit run down, but not troubling. The campsite was small, but since the place was not busy it didn't matter that we hung over the back end of the pull through. There is no landscaping to speak off, so there is no "charm" to the place. Easy access from I-10. We camped at Lordsburg KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Thousand Trails - Palm Springs RV Resort, Palm Desert, California

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We were impressed with the amenities offered at this park and wished that we had more time to stay. The sites are close together and not much privacy between them. However, the staff was extremely friendly and there is a lot to do there. We would definitely stay here again and for more than one day. We camped at Thousand Trails - Palm Springs RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort, Cloverdale, California

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Thousand Trails membership park, but it also has sites available for rent. The sites were nice, fairly level and paved. There are pull throughs scattered throughout the park. We used the showers and the laundry, and they were all very nicely maintained. We also were able to get satellite reception at our site (Section C #57). Staff was extremely friendly. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Redwood Meadows RV Resort (formerly Hiouchi RV Resort), Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We thought that this was a nice place, but nothing fancy. Pull through sites are oddly shaped and could be a problem if the place was full. But being the off season, we had no problem at all. The office staff was very friendly and helpful with information on local areas. Great place to see the Redwoods!! We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Redwood Meadows RV Resort (formerly Hiouchi RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.
