Brantley Lake State Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Close enough to Carlsbad to offer excellent alternative especially for the price. Actually arrived by accident since I couldn't get any response from the ones closer to town. Waited on line for 12 minutes while the person who answered and ask me to wait, put the phone down, and waited on 7 cashier customers. Finally gave up and decided to keep driving. Would definitely stay again since it is the right distance for me - to or from Santa Fe. If only 30 amp sites are available might want to consider that for summer trip using A/C. We camped at Brantley Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Bella Terra RV Resort, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was full of "firsts" for us. First rally. First high end RV resort. First big rig RV park. I was impressed when I got a call from the weekend campground host the day before verifying my check in time. For us it was the best site available: right on the lake and across the street from wonderful dog park. The primary amenity we used was the club house. Since we were at a rally, we dined there twice a day as well as enjoyed other activities during the day and evening. Can not think of a single thing missing. The check in procedure was painless and the people were very enthusiastic about us being here. Each of the important items was stressed and double checked. We can't wait for another excuse to be here. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Deer Creek Valley RV Park, Topeka, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful CG. Although close to highway there was no noise due to vegetation barrier. A gated community which obviously has some long term residents. Would definitely stay again if it was close to my travel route. We camped at Deer Creek Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.
