Artesian Springs Resort, Newton, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park in the deep woods. Very quiet. Very clean. Very spacious sites. Has the feel of a state park setting. The long gravel road to the park was in very good shape. I had heard bad things about the road so I was relieved that it wasn't the case. The management was very helpful and courteous. We will definitely be back! Had a very pleasant stay. We camped at Artesian Springs Resort in a Travel Trailer.

South Toledo Bend State Park, Anacoco, Louisiana

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

The lady at the gatehouse was super friendly and helpful. The park is very well laid out and easy to get in and out of. The bath house and laundry rooms were very clean. The fishing piers were nice to use. There is a small beach area as well. There is a nice playground for the kids. Park rangers made several trips per day through the park so the residents were not rowdy. Quiet time started at 10PM and everyone observed it. Overall I had a very nice stay at this campground. We camped at South Toledo Bend State Park in a Motorhome.

Cajun Palms RV Resort, Henderson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $32.00

Level pull through handled my travel trailer easily. Had an escort to our site. Everyone on staff was friendly and cordial. Lots of activities and things to do. They had a band playing there this weekend. The WiFi was iffy at best but I'm not there to surf the internet anyway. I highly recommend this park and we will return to it frequently. We camped at Cajun Palms RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
