Torrey Oakes RV & Golf Resort , Bowling Green, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park has owner lots for rent and a few Park Owned sites available to drop ins. Their web site claims a putting green and golf course, and PGA teaching Pro but there is no putting green and the Golf Course is not affiliated with the RV Park and there is no PGA Teaching Pro. We found out the park has been repossessed by the bank as the previous owner/manager defaulted on the loan and it is now for sale by the bank. We have stayed here on several occasions over the past few years. There is a pecking order in this park but there are many friendly people as well as several hi brow snobs. We camped at Torrey Oakes RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Elite Resorts at Salt Springs, Salt Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park, clean and well maintained. We stayed here for two weeks. The only problem we had was that our cell phones would not work in the park. Others did work but not sure of what service they had. We would return. We camped at Elite Resorts at Salt Springs in a Motorhome.

Grand Lake RV Resort, Citra, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is aging and is not being well maintained. The Wi-Fi rarely works and when it does the speed is very slow. It has a nine hole golf course which also is poorly maintained, apparently because the maintenance equipment is broke down. Animals are allowed to go almost anywhere and annoying barking dogs are heard at various locations. There are also some exotic pets in the park, we saw Monkeys and a Parrot. At one time this probably was a very nice park. Rates are somewhat high for this area of Florida. Shopping is a twenty minute drive one way and major shopping is thirty minutes or more. They do have a nice pool but not always heated. There are two recreation halls both with dirty carpeting. We will not return. We camped at Grand Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.
