Bay View Campground, Bourne, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Disappointed that here was no ocean or canal view that we were hoping for. Very nice campground though. Loved the coffee/ice cream shop. The two pools were also very nice. We had a nice level site close to the bathrooms and pool area that we enjoyed. Lots of hills which posed problems for the little ones riding their bikes. This campground really didn't "wow" us but we will consider returning. We camped at Bay View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Dummers Beach Campground, Weld, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

If you like being in the woods and mountains this is it. Doesn't have some of the amenities and updates of some of the more "urban" campgrounds but the beautiful location more than makes up for it. Awesome lake literally steps away from the campsites is great for the little kids. Watch the sun set into the mountains. By far this is the favorite getaway for my family and I! We camped at Dummers Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Pinewood Lodge Campground, Plymouth, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay here for the most part. Only complaint would be there are a lot of rules there. For the price we were paying to stay there they wouldn't even let my wife's sister spend the night with us. Security also made my wife and i put out a fire earlier than we would have liked for no apparent reason. You can only have 2 adults per site. However, they had a good playground and good pond for the kids to swim in. Very close to the Plymouth waterfront as well. We camped at Pinewood Lodge Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Glen Ellis Family Campground, Glen, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Our kids loved camping here. Lots of open places for the kids to run around, play catch, etc. Great bike riding around the park for our 8 year old. We loved going to the ice cream stand in the their game room area. pool was nice, did get a little crowded though. We came hear because it was so close to Storyland, and ended up not wanting to leave to go there! We will definitely return. We camped at Glen Ellis Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
