I have stayed at this park for 4 consecutive summers; 1 week, 3 weeks, 3 months and hopefully,3 months. This is a well kept park with beautful scenery, access to hiking, atv-ing and fishing; trout pond on site. The main detracter to this otherwise exceptional facility is the wi-fi which is totally useless. It is so bad this year (2011) that staff have been telling guests that it is bad and have set up a few cable sites near the office! If you want to use your computer to do business while traveling, do not pick this park!

This is an older KOA park so infrastructure shows signs of age. The roads are mostly gravel some treed areas and some open; so satellite access and shade are both available. The grounds are mostly well-kept with the exception of some full timers who have “junked up their sites”. The restrooms and laundry rooms are exceptionally clean. It is very close and convenient to I-65. THE Wi-Fi SERVICE IS TERRIBLE; ERRATIC AND WEAK. They say they are going to fix the Wi-Fi; we’ll see. We have stayed here many times over the last 3 years because it is close to my son’s workplace and home. An alternative is the Hoover Met. Nightly rate includes full hookups, 50 amp and taxes.

This is a great park. All concrete pads. Large pull thru sites. Staff friendly and helpful. Great snack bar with pizzas and sandwiches.
