Whoever rates this place a 10 or even close is not being honest and may be connected to the club. We are full timers and have RV'ed all over the country and Cutty's is the worst of any that we have ever stayed. Even at the $22.00 half price rate for passport and coast to coast it is not a good deal. The Corp of Engineers Parks at nearby Saylorville Lake are much nice and less money. The Lake at Cutty's is a mud hole and has no fish other than the over populated Carp. The Place is run down and un-repaired with very few level sites. The Wi-Fi is only available to a small percentage of sites, TV channels are hard to get and the Interstate noise is VERY LOUD ! The only good thing I can say is the place is well kept and looks good out front but once you get in it's a different story. Not even worthy of an over night stay.

Nightly, weekly & monthly rates, $14.00 is based on monthly. They do not get any nicer, very well maintained, peaceful and close to everything.

There is not a good thing to say about Cuttys in Grimes, Ia. Most everything they advertise is exaggerated. Wi-Fi is only available in a handful of sites, sites are ALL unlevel, most employees are unfriendly, rude & usually unable to help because they just don't know. I could go on and on so I'll just say that it is very poorly managed, although it looks good out front that's where it ends, maintenance and upkeep are almost nonexistent. Too many teenagers roaming around late at night, quiet hour isn't until 11pm but there is no security around so it can be loud even later. The rates are higher than advertised, $44.40 is the new rate.

Rate is based on monthly charge. One of the best. Very well managed and maintained. Quiet and friendly.

Cramped sites, not pet friendly, and noisy in the am with many Cable company workers and their diesels. Ran by a man and wife: the man is very friendly and helpful; the woman was extremely friendly on the phone when making the reservation. But it pretty much ended there, she even storied to us a couple of times. The Thanksgiving Potluck had very few people, they did not post it or go around and invite anyone that I know of. We never got a key to the restrooms/showers so we have no idea what they were like. Not my idea of an RV Park: over night would be ok but a month was overkill. The monthly rates are quite a bit higher than much nicer Parks close by.

Our Rate was only $10.00 per night through Coast to Coast with a max of 7 nights but since we were put in an area with no sewer hook ups that was to long. The Restrooms were closed for way to long for cleaning about 9 - 10 am, seemed like a nice park up on the hill but not where we were. The worst thing was the lawn mower ran over and chewed up our dogs cable which they said they'd replace but never did. A recipe was presented to the manager and we are out the 20 bucks.

Very nice RV Park, secluded but near everything. Stayed a week using Coast To Coast at $10.00 per day, could of easily stayed longer.

Loved it: camping in the mountains, but easy to get in and out. Great views, fire pits, lots of pine trees. Had no cell service but it is a very mountainous area. Would definitely stay again. $10.00 rate is with Coast to Coast membership.

This is an alright place to spend the night although we stayed a full week and it was OK, there isn't much to do when staying that long. No complaints, but the name is a little misleading since it is not shady enough. The Cable TV is not good but the town is in the middle of no where so it could be worse. The on site owners are friendly and helpful.
