Frontier Bar & Campgrounds, Saxon, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Location off US 2 was perfect for a night on our way to Glacier. Limited sites with full hookups. Looked like a lot of folks were monthly renters. No one visited 5+ campers that were parked near us the entire time we were there. Would stay here again - for one night to get some rest. We camped at Frontier Bar & Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Smoky Bear Campground, Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We had a great stay here. There are the most gracious hosts. Our family includes two little girls (aged 3 and 1 at the time) and they were most welcome. Bathrooms were cleaned. We stayed over July 4th, and they had a guest demonstrate cast-iron cooking (peach cobbler). Great stay. We would definitely stay here again if we were to ever go back. The one downside is that we had to drive through Gatlinburg every time we wanted to go somewhere - this added 10-15 minutes to our drive. We camped at Smoky Bear Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Young State Park, Boyne City, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Great state park on one of the most beautiful inland lakes in Michigan. If you want a great beach within a short walk of your campsite, this is a good spot. The spots are a little close together and there can be very little privacy. This is not a woods campground. Highly recommend. We camped at Young State Park in a Tent Trailer.
