Overall Rating:

Beautiful park very well maintained. Nice lake with ducks. Great cable, nice little store. Very friendly service, close to I-10, so you do get road noise. This was the prettiest KOA of our whole trip. We camped at Forsyth KOA in a Motorhome.

Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground, Live Oak, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

I've been to this park three times in the last year and had a great time each time I went. Plenty to do, trail riding on golf carts, fishing in the Suwannee River, canoeing on the Suwannee River, live music, beautiful hiking trails. Love the pickin' shed for the Bluegrass music. The people are very friendly and have about anything you need there. It's a good mix of activities and peaceful tranquility. We camped at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Pacetti's Marina, Campground and Fishing Resort (Closed), St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We camped in one of the water front sites number 4. Campground was old but I like old. Restrooms were old but clean. My grandson caught a mess of fish off the dock. People were friendly and nice. I thought it would be noisy here on a Saturday night, but I was wrong. Was very quiet. A nice place if you want to fish, but not much else to do. We will go back. We camped at Pacetti's Marina, Campground and Fishing Resort (Closed) in a Motorhome.

Sweetwater Lake Campground, Saint Matthews, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We didn't actually stay there. When we got there no one was home. The electrical pole didn't look safe and the grass was high and bugs were biting us. No one was camped there and on one was at the house. All we saw was a nice looking lake but nothing else. No pool, no picnic table, nothing that looked like a campground except a few hook-ups. I was afraid to stay so we went back to interstate and found another place. We camped at Sweetwater Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA, Petersburg, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This park was very family friendly, lots of activities for the kids. Not the place to go if you want peace and quiet. It was quiet at night the kids had to remain on there own campsite after dark. The park served a free pancake breakfast every day from 8 till 10. My grandson started smiling as soon as we got there and he never stopped for 4 days. It had a swimming lake, fishing lake, water slide, putt putt golf, outside pool tables, bike rentals. We camped at Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA in a Motorhome.

Rutledge Lake RV Park, Fletcher, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

We had a water front spot so my grandson could fish. He caught 2 very large fish. It was catch and release, but that was fine with us. We just stayed overnight during the week. Easy on and off from Interstate. Close to stores. Had a great time. Will stay again. My price included 7 people so it was a little higher than most will have to pay. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

We camped in a motorhome and had a site on the river. Site was level with a covered patio right over the river. The sound of the river was fantastic. The location for seeing the area was perfect. We would stay there again loved the place. We camped at Tremont Outdoor Resort in a Motorhome.

Deer Run RV Park, Troy, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We camped in a motorhome and used it only as a over night spot. The camper was level but the spot for picnic table was not and we could not find a level spot for it. It had a a couple of fishing ponds and my grandson caught 14 little fish in just a few hours. It was right off the road we were traveling which was what we wanted. Restrooms were very nice. My grandson didn't want to leave the next morning. We will use this place again, it fit our needs perfectly. I don't remember the cost, but we travel with 7 people so our cost would be more than most. We camped at Deer Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Flamingo Lake RV Resort, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

I stay here at least once a month in the summer. They have a nice pool but my grandkids love the lake. We always get waterfront sites so my grandson can fish (not great fishing but okay for kids). Water is so clear at some spots you can see big fish, but we have never gotten a big one to bite. Park workers are fantastic. We camped at Flamingo Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Comfort Inn RV Park, Saint George, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I was surprised at how nice it was for an over night stop. The RV park is behind the motel with nice shade trees and green grass. The pool is located close to the RV park not the motel. It's right next to the interstate so easy on easy off for traveling. The only problem was lots of lights that stay on all night. It's a great idea wish more motels did it. We camped at Comfort Inn RV Park in a Motorhome.
