Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park), Shreveport, Louisiana

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park. The owners were super nice. The bathhouse was really clean and they play music in there. The laundry room was clean and all appliances worked. The dog runs were great to be able to let your dogs run off leash in a fenced area. They have yellow flags out front to help find the entrance. It was easy to get level, and they have either a picnic table or table and four chairs at every site. We stayed four days and definitely would come back when in the area. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects Good Sam Discount. We stayed four nights. Site was easy to level. They only have four channels of cable so we didn't bother. Laundry room was very clean. Our Verizon air card worked well. We enjoyed our stay and would camp here again. We camped at Point Mallard Park in a Motorhome.

Auburn RV Park at Leisure Time Campground, Auburn, Alabama

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park was very quiet, although the waterpark next door was not open for the season. Lady was very nice in the office. Had some difficulty getting level at our site. The laundry room and restrooms were clean, the men's shower has no privacy for dressing. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We camped at Auburn RV Park at Leisure Time Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night. It was very peaceful. A nice lake to walk around. The staff was friendly and they guide you to your site. All hookups worked. Not sure about the Wi-Fi because we have a Verizon air card. We would stay here again. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

San Jacinto Riverfront RV Park, Highlands, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Would not consider this a resort (no activities) but more of a park with lots of loud diesel trucks starting up early in mornings. The men bath house was constantly out of supplies and not clean. Wi-Fi is not dependable at your site. Office staff is friendly. This looks to be the best out of three campgrounds in the area so we would come back if ever in the area. We camped at San Jacinto Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.
