Caliente Springs Resort (55+ park), Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very large park. This is a nice park. Quiet mostly. Mostly permanent rentals. Close to town, but still in the open. There is no trash can close to the RV parking. My main concern was the fact that where they parked us there were at least 10 spaces open between us and the next RV. They placed an RV right next to us. We could hear there TV and loud talking, dog barking at 6:15 am. There were at least 10 spaces open not close to any other space. Why do people in the office do this? We stayed a week. The price is a Passport America rate. The Wi-fi is good. We camped at Caliente Springs Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this park. The management is wonderful, we felt like part of the family. There was a get together every Friday evening. The views of the mountains are incredible. The stars were like a blanket above us. My phone wouldn't work but my internet was perfect. We can't wait to go back. We camped at Rusty's RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Front Royal RV Campground, Front Royal, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was once a nice place I am sure. The people at the desk were very friendly. It is very run down. When we arrived we were the only ones here but as people came they were placed next to us. This place has many sites and we were all put into a bunch. Leaving some space would have been the right thing to do. No real amenities were available but the store and the laundry, we didn't need the rest rooms. The beautiful view and country made it worth while. Such a shame this could be a great place. We camped at Front Royal RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Hidden Valley RV Park, Del Rio, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We found this place by accident, but really glad we did. It is quiet, away from traffic and noise but still close to town. Great internet and TV service, very nice and helpful managers. If you need the managers will guide you here, just give them a call. I see deer and horses and an emu out my window, and the birds never stop singing. The ash and pecan trees provide total shade. It is very pleasant and relaxing. I highly recommend this park if a friendly, quite, relaxing place is in your liking. We camped at Hidden Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
