Date of Stay:

This is our fifth trip to this park. Very quiet, close to the beaches and shopping in Melbourne.

Date of Stay:

Second time here at Fort Wilderness campground. Expensive, but cheaper than a hotel/motel and convenient to Disney World. Brought our own golf cart.

Date of Stay:

First camping space assigned was too small. Supposed to be a pull-through. Couldn't open awning or slides without hitting other campers. Next day they move me to a back-in space which was fine. Good cable at the second site.

Date of Stay:

Park management lives on site. There are quite a few full time residents there. The use of four wheelers and golf cars seems at time to be out of control. They are in the process of updating some the wiring at the sites.

Date of Stay:

Clean campground. State is improving/updating the site. Check in was easy and friendly. The date we were there the lower sites were under water due to flooding and the lake being up. But, it was quiet, and we had a enjoyable stay.

We have stayed at this park the past four years for a short stay while visiting cousins in the area. Local park manager has been very pleasant to deal with. The heated pool is great and the quiet location works very well for us.
