For one night I guess it's OK, but make sure you are the first to get in their pull-through, because they're double sites and if you're the second in you'll have to back up to get out early. Easy in from I-81. The sites aren't really leveled, they're graveled.

Date of Stay:

It rained a lot while we were there, and some sites were flooded and had to move during the night. The sewer overflowed. Not a pretty campground but convenient. The cable did not work when we were there. Internet was slow, but usable. Not the most friendliest staff. We seemed to be bothering them when we got in, and everyone in the front desk stopped to listen to our conversation with the clerk.

Sites are not leveled. Very steep roads, so steep that my 5th wheel hit the truck bed when it got to the top. A lot of sites have a wooden deck but they are so old that I didn't risk stepping on mine. Will not go there again, ever. When we got there they sent a local to guide us to our site and the guy asked me $2 for the "service".

Good for a stopover, close to I-81. Internet is bad, very slow. Most sites are not good for satellite reception. Not the most friendly people staffing the place.

We called before hand to see if they had all the hookups, and they said yes. We got there around 4h00 and the manager wanted us to park in the road but we couldn't get to the 50 amp outlet, so we had to get the manager to come back to give us another site, he gave us a site with no sewer, and gave us the internet log in password, but their network did not work. So for 34 $ it was a robbery. Bad roads in, mud, mud and mud. No service on the grounds.

Good park. Cement pad for the rig. They escort you to your site and spray your sewer and water hookups with a solution of water and bleach, and then the guy gives you a thank you card. We like this place to stop over for a couple of nights. A lot of stuff to see in the area.

Nice place, breakfast included in the price. We stop here when we go back north. This year we stayed a couple of nights because we wanted to visit Anahuac NWR, that is close by. Cement slab for the rig, nice wide road and a pool.

Good place to get some rest, some fishing and some relaxation. Sites are on cement slabs, most sites are on the lakes. People are friendly. We would camp there anytime again.

Park is out of the way, a little hard to get in, steep and norrow roads, navigate slowly. Park is on dirt sites mostly, not muddy but close when it rains. Lots of ducks and fishing lakes. With Passport America we paid $13 a night. For the price it's a good deal. We used their laundry room and it was good. Didn't use the pool since it was closed for the winter season.

Very bad Rv Park, changed owner, and they have no workers to fix things up, most sites don't work, they have very few 50 amps sites, only 4 or 5 pull-thru, lost of empty mobile home sites empty. We will never stay there again. Used to be a nice small friendly park.
