This is without a doubt, the strangest campground we've ever been to. When we pulled into the park, there was no one around but they had left a sign on their door to complete the registration form, pick a site, leave cash (or credit card info) and deposit it in the box provided. We didn't see anyone for the entire time we were there. They also had a sign apologizing for their Wifi not working and their dump station was operable. Having said all that, the park was okay for an overnight stay. I used their laundry room which was clean & tidy. The park has potential but it appears there might be some money problems or something else going on. Road noise was not an issue for us. We felt safe and would stay here again when passing thru the area but would not stay long term here.

Date of Stay:

The park is off the highway so no road noise but there is a train track right beside the park so that might be an issue for some campers but it didn't bother us. Staff were very friendly and there is a nice dog run area. Store is well equipped with supplies and basic groceries and you can buy pizza and ice cream too. Wifi worked well. We would stay here again.

We felt that $44.00 a night was too high for the time of year we stayed. The lady that checked us in was friendly and we were escorted to our site but be prepared for the very long, very bumpy driveway into the park. We heard truck traffic all night. Wifi worked well but there was no cable TV. Would stay here again only if necessary.

Lovely, quiet setting. Park is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly. The sites were all grass but were long & spacious. No cable TV but Wifi worked well for our stay. They have a book & movie exchange and a well stocked store in the office for supplies. They offer supper & breakfast and we had supper there & the meal was superb. Try their freshly baked peach cobbler for dessert! We would definitely stay here again.

Long, cement sites with lots of room between you & your neighbour. Good wifi and cable TV. Big dog run. Not much noise from I40 at night but there was a bit of a cattle smell when the wind blew from the wrong direction, from a large stockyard west of the city. Would stay here again.

Paved sites, quiet park, garbage picked up at site every morning. Good cable & wifi. Nice big dog run. Staff were friendly. Would stay here again.

Sites are long but not a lot of space between them however this is a nice quiet park and the staff are friendly & helpful. The cable TV was not working while we were there but wifi was strong and they offer a free shuttle service to their customers if you want to go to downtown Williams to shop, have supper or catch the train to the Grand Canyon. They offer a free breakfast each morning which is delicious too. We would definitely stay here again.

If you plan to come to this park get good directions before you turn off I-17 because there is no signage & it is not easy to find. The park is older but well maintained. Wifi is Tengo which worked well for our stay and they do not have cable TV. I doubt we would stay here again.

This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. The grounds are immaculate and the staff are friendly. Long pull thru sites with beautiful views. Big pool and hot tub. Clean laundry room. Wifi worked great & lots of TV channels. They even fly the Canadian flag, along with the American & State flag. Would definitely stay here again!

On the plus side....nice wide sites on gravel which is typical for this area. They have landscaping between each site for privacy. Wifi worked well. Lots of TV channels. Nice dog run area. Garbage is picked up at your site every morning. Close to I-10 but noise not an issue. Now for the negative.......no pool. Found the staff in the office to be very unfriendly and never saw any staff in the park during the day except the person who picked up the garbage. Mesilla Village is over-rated. Lots of little shops but a bit of a tourist trap. La Posta Restaurant was okay but we have eaten better Mexican food at Mom & Pop Mexican restaurants, for far less money. Enjoyed the Farmer's Market downtown.

The park is under renovation and the new sites that have been put in are nice & level, with good hook-ups that are easy to reach. The park owners are very friendly and gave us recommendations of places to see while we were here and a good restaurant. There are some permanent residents in the park but they are located towards the back of the park. Wi-Fi worked well during our stay. Laundry room was small (3 washers & 3 dryers) but clean. We would stay here again.

The rate of $27.00 per night was discounted from their normal $30.00 rate because we paid cash. This was our 2nd time staying in the park and since the last time, it seems that a lot of full time residents have moved in. The park is essentially a gravel parking lot but it has modern hookups and enough space between sites. There is a nice dog pen. We were not able to get connected to Wi-Fi until after 10 PM when I imagine other users had logged off for the night. There is a bit of traffic noise from I-10 but not that bad. If we were passing through the area again, we would stay here. The park is good for an overnight stop but there's not much in the area to keep us here longer than one night.

Nice campground, just south of I-10 about half way between San Antonio and Houston. People in the office were very friendly. The sites are close and I think a lot of the residents are permanent. With the receipt, campers get 10% off at Frank's Restaurant which is a short walk from the walk and well worth going to. Wifi worked well. Not many TV channels on their cable system.

This is a beautiful park. All the sites are concrete pads and the sites are quite large. I think there are a lot of permanent residents in the park. The only complaint we have was their Internet. It's supplied by TengoInternet and for some reason, we could not get connected and the lady in the office was not very helpful or concerned. The park is well off I-20 so there is no road noise.

This is an older KOA and needs work. The sites are not long and if you try to make an on-line reservation, you will be asked to unhook your rig to get onto certain sites. The sites are not level and they are close together. Wi-Fi was very poor and road noise was an issue. There's not much to do in the area so this is a park for an overnight stay while passing through the area but there's nothing here to entice you to stay longer. The Log Cabin Restaurant, on the corner about 1/2 mile from the park, is very good. An RVer beside us decided to start his diesel truck at 4 AM and let it run beside us for over 30 minutes.
