Spartanburg NE / Gaffney KOA, Gaffney, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Most sites are unlevel, bring plenty of blocks. All gravel drives. Friendly, helpful staff. WiFi is overloaded about 80% of the time, needs upgraded to accommodate 100+ sites. Don't plan on streaming movies. Prices are typical of KOA's premium price for below average parks. We camped at Spartanburg NE / Gaffney KOA in a Travel Trailer.

New Green Acres RV Park , Walterboro, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Green Acres is a nicely run park. Folks are very nice. Located just off I-95, so there is a fair amount of highway noise. Wi-Fi could be better. Excellent cable TV. Large pull through sites, amid tall pine trees. Plenty of restaurants nearby. I have been to this park 4-5 times as a one night stopover. I recommend this park. We camped at New Green Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Waldena Resort, Silver Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I would not refer to this park as a resort. It has a ratty looking pond and swamp attached to it, and ratty looking beach. If you use Wi-Fi, this is not the place to stay. There is a note in the parks literature telling you that it is poor, but you won't know that till AFTER you check in. It is sporadic at best, Also, there should be an asterisk beside their cable TV. They only have 9 stations, all of which you could likely get from your antenna. I would not stay at this park again. You get what you pay for. We camped at Lake Waldena Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Under new ownership for about a year. Lots of renovation going on. Owners are on site and very helpful. We had an excellent site with a pad. Convenient to Spartanburg-Greeneville areas. We will be going back. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Travel Trailer.
