Golden Isles Vacation Park, Brunswick, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of those RV parks that is hard to review. A lot of permanents here, and you know what happens. The trash starts piling-up, RVs look like they belong in the recycle center, and dog waste throughout the park. The staff is friendly and so are the RVers. The park is just right for a few days. The Wi-Fi is lightning fast. Will come again, for a short stay We camped at Golden Isles Vacation Park in a Motorhome.

Winter Quarters Manatee RV Resort, Bradenton, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This RV resort is anything but a resort. There is more trash in this park than there is at the city dump. Not only that, dog waste liters the streets. I pulled into my site and stepped in dog waste, and then I noticed it in my tires. I was ready to leave. You are about 100 yards from I-75, and the noise gets unbearable at times. The resort (joke) has about 500 sites, with over half being permanent (campers), so you can see why this place can get trashy and residents thinking they own the place. The people are very friendly, but some of the staff need to find another line of work. This is my first and last time here. We camped at Winter Quarters Manatee RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Walkabout Camp & RV Park, Woodbine, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This was my 5th visit here, and each time something new is added. This time it was chickens running all over the place, which added to the atmosphere of the place. Nice little park to stay overnight or for a short stay, to visit the local landmarks. The price reflects C to C rates. Will be back. We camped at Walkabout Camp & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Really liked this state park. The park had the ocean view, the wood view, and 30/50 amp service. If you like quiet and peace, this is the place. Will be back. We camped at Hunting Island State Park in a Motorhome.

This park has it all for the adventurous type. If it had 50 amp service and sewer service, it would be an excellant RV park. I will be back. We camped at Huntington Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is one nice place to spend your time in Nashville. The RV park motto is "come in as a customer and leave as a friend", fits this campground to a tee. The staff are out of this world, bend over backwards for you to make this place like home. I will be back. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Pikes Peak RV Park, Manitou Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I feel in love with this rv park the minute I drove up. The owners were outside ready to meet me and then they directed me to my site and assisted me in parking and hooking up. This is one of the friendiest parks you could ask for. The park is right in the middle of town, and you are just a short drive/walk to all of the attractions, which are many. The staff makes you feel like home, that you want to spent more time there. I will be back on my next trip, and will plan on spending more time there. We camped at Pikes Peak RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a quiet, little park out in the country. We only stayed one day, but this is the place that you could stay for much longer if you don't mind the drive to town which is beautiful. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I will be back. We camped at Page Springs Park in a Motorhome.

Soaring Eagle Campground & RV Park, Lenoir City, Tennessee

Holy Smokes what a place. Was dirty and loud with too many homesteaders. The part time staff was excellent, but that will not bring me back. The so called lake front was next to I-40. No sleep, the ear plugs did not help. We camped at Soaring Eagle Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.
