Aces High RV Park, East Lyme, Connecticut

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Clean & convenient-- yes, but nothing to do. We spent two nights in middle August with two children (10 & 8). No activities at all. There is a pool, but it is freezing - even in middle August? It is small and is in desperate need of a heater. Seems to clear out during the day. Adults will enjoy the campground if they want quiet, but families will struggle to keep their children entertained. We will not be back. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Seaport RV Resort, Old Mystic, Connecticut

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We had a wonderful August weekend at Seaport RV! The new owners are wonderful and are working hard to create a fabulous campground. Don't consider any of the reviews for the previous owners; it is completely different now. Everything looks brand new. Beautiful landscaping; everything is very clean. The bathrooms are clean and have great showers. Everyone that works there is pleasant and accommodating. They are working on the pool - which will be heated; they expect to have it ready before the end of the season. There was not a shortage of things for the kids to do. Bounce house, waterslides, Disco party, games, crafts--they were thrilled. This is a smaller campground which we loved. Active enough for the kids, but quiet enough for Mommy & Daddy. Will visit again often. Will also give a perfect 10 when the pool is ready. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
