Bethpage Camp Resort, Urbanna, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

This park is supposed to be the number one rated Park in America. It has about 400 overnight sights and 800 permanent sites. There are lots of activities, swimming pool, man-made lake, and Beach. However, the crowd and the traffic is ridiculous. You can barely move for golf cart traffic. The staff in the office and store are just plain rude. The park is decent. It has an awesome splash park for little kids. I would not come here again because it is ridiculously expensive for what you get and the office staff are so rude. We camped at Bethpage Camp Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Joy O RV Park, Denmark, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a nice park for the value. The owners were exceptionally friendly. (the gentleman just turned 90!) The spots are spacious and long enough to hold a truck, fifth wheel, and tow vehicle without unhitching. The entry road is narrow and rugged and dirt, so I can understand how one might complain if it was rainy, muddy, and night time. However, we arrived in early evening and had no problems whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again if we were traveling through! We camped at Joy O RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is our favorite park after full timing for ten years. Charming and helpful owner, great residents, and a slew of activities. The only reason it's not a "10" is because the Wi-Fi can be a little slow: pretty minor with all the pluses! We camped at Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We spent five months at this campground and had our 8-year-old granddaughter for two of those months. It was like stepping back in time to the 1950s when your children could just go outside anywhere, and you didn't have to worry about them. They have a full-time activity director, so we never heard: "I'm bored!" Very clean with helpful, very friendly staff. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.
