Page Lake Powell Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The 2 Girls at the Office know nothing about working at a RV Campground. I just wonder how much money they lose for the owners! They said they were full but we saw many empty sights. their directions to get there were terrible. Thay acted like they were 12 years old. The sites are Gravel and dirt mostly dirt not very level, Had to Lift back wheels off the ground to level. The swimming pool and hot tub were filled with young people and babys . Good for overnite they need m some training on how to treat their customers. wont stay there again. We camped at Page Lake Powell Campground in a Motorhome.

A Fisherman's Resort, Homer, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Came for a week stayed for 2. Great location very friendly staff and very helpful. Moose walked right thru our campsite! Just a real friendly place, I will stay here every time while in Homer. Its not a giant park but great level spots. You can buy any kind of fish or King Crab here too. And very Quiet too. The restrooms are the cleanest I've seen. Do yourself a favor, stay here. We camped at A Fisherman's Resort in a Motorhome.

Kampers West RV Park, Warrenton, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We spent 2 days here. This is an older park that is showing signs of wear. Some spots have picnic tables, some do not. Hookups are shared with other site; only 30 amp service. Tried to take a shower but big sign said no hot water, when I asked about it the guy in the office thought I was out of line for asking about it. He said the other building has a shower; the water went out last week. Wi-Fi was not working; very low signal. For what they charge everything should work not worth the money they charge. Good for overnight but not long term. Only back-in sites, gravel but covered with moss. The grass needs to be mowed, too. Might stay overnight again just to see if things are fixed. We camped at Kampers West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Val Vista Village (55+ park), Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Has all the amenities. Escort to site and help getting parked. Some spots are tighter than others. Big rig friendly. The first week was Passport America at half price for the week. No cable TV, that costs extra. The Internet ranges from good to nothing depending on where they park you. I used my Verizon card, which worked well. We stayed 2 weeks and had to move once, but we extended the extra week. Very friendly park. Lunch at the pool was always under $20.00 with tip. Good food. This is our 3rd time here. We will come back and stay here again. We camped at Val Vista Village (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Shamrock Village, Eugene, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We found this place in Passport America. I thought we would try it out for the night. OMG where to start! The women checking us in was nice; thats the only thing I can say was nice about this place. Leaves and moss everywhere. The river which is the big draw is off limits - NO TRESPASSING. If you do, theres a large fine. After we set up camp, they put a 5th wheel next to me even though empty spots were everywhere. The second he plugged in, my surge guard started to chatter loudly and I had to disconnect the power to make it stop. I thought it had gone out, called a local electrician and was told the box was $768.00 not installed. Spent the night worrying with no power. When the 5th wheel left the next day turned on the power and all was well. The cable TV they advertised was not working and needed a box. Wi-Fi did not work. Sat TV wouldn't work because of the trees. AND THE TRAINS!!!! OMG they were right next to this place and elevated up high and they run day and night. The price is PA rate. We would not stay there again. We camped at Shamrock Village in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone RV Park, Gardiner, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The park hosts were awesome. They advertise 12 channels of TV we got 5 and so grainy/fuzzy we couldn't watch it.The host did everything to try to fix it, but nothing we did worked. Sites are narrow and dusty gravel tight turns for a big rig. Down a big hill. Verizon didn't work had to go up the hill. We paid 47.50 with AAA discount. Seemed like too much for what you get. The Wi-Fi worked ok. but lost the signal a few times. Might come back if same hosts. We camped at Yellowstone RV Park in a Motorhome.

On arrival we were handed a flyer praising God. I was a little surprised. There is a Church on the grounds. They have a big black dog running around the park part of the security they say. He leaves his calling card everywhere Watch where you walk.Just the basics. Level gravel sites.Escort to site. They advertise WiFi But good luck hooking up to it,We tried for 2 days. Our friends couldn't get on either. WE spent the second day looking for a new park. When we said we were having problems with wyfi were told it works fine. Good for over nite but not long term. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Teton Valley RV Park, Victor, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We were expecting to pay $18 like it said in the Passport America book. The rates have gone up. They are the only game in town. The site we were in was $52 a night; PA rate was half but add for 50 amps and taxes, and they only take cash. Anyway, its a nice park but over priced. Good size sites gravel somewhat level. some shade. The pool was still empty. PA rate ($30) is good for only 2 days. We'll be leaving then. No TV but you can get a few channels with antenna. Wouldn't stay here if I had to pay $52 plus $4 for 50 amp, more for Internet, plus 8% tax. I don't see the value. We camped at Teton Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean. Rate is PA discount. Regular rate is $36, kind of spendy for what you get. Wi-Fi worked good. If you have a good antenna you can get 4 channels of TV, but 2 don't work too well. Level, gravel sites. Big rig friendly. All pull through sites., side by side though. We camped at Centennial RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

The park was OK. They have long term people. The lady next to us had three dogs running loose. While we ate our dinner at the picnic table one of the dogs came over and relived himself while we ate. There is a $5 deposit for water key . They did have good fry bread in the office. No pool and no TV. This is a overnight and move on place. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great park. Close to everything and big rig friendly. Easy in and out. We were greeted by really nice staff who went out of their way to make our stay nice. This is a place to stay for awhile. Lots of big trees and shade. They even have a lounge with lots of books. I would have given a 10, but no pool. I will be back and stay there again. Rate is based on a 1 week stay.
