To start with the 'trains' run all night long and most of the day. The campground would have been tolerable except for the sites were cramped and there are lots of long stay campers. The staff in the office needs to be replaced. Rude and abrasive. There was one camper who told us about some fun things to do in the area: hiking trails, Six Flags, etc. I want to thank her as it made the stay wonderful. The Christmas train was fun too, thanks. The staff here recommended another campground that was just the pits. Check out my other reviews to see. Will not come back.

Stayed here for only one night. This park was recommended by someone in Acton (which I should have known was a problem, they aren't any better there). What a bad recommendation. We wanted to camp near some water but not at this campground. The campground was all but empty (they put us right next to each other) and the bathrooms were locked. Glad we didn't need them. The management is very rude and seem to be a little tipsy. They seemed upset because my last name was Latino in origin. The campground is not recommended to anyone for any reason. Don't come here unless you like this sort of thing.

For a state beach it gets two thumbs up. The sites were well maintained and all pull throughs, so it was great. A little busy but worth the time to stay and enjoy this area. The dogs had a great time and everyone was just wonderful. The night time was a little noisy but everyone quieted down around 12 midnight. Will return, great place for the price.

We have been coming here for over 5 years and are still in love with it. The chili cook off was fun. Love the weekends here with the tacos. Will be coming next year too. Close to everything.
