Sunny Meadows Campground, Elm Creek, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Basically a dusty dump. Although they advertise and have pull-through sites, we could not fit with our motorhome and toad. Power was very erratic when plugged in...too risky. We moved on and found another place to stay. We camped at Sunny Meadows Campground in a Motorhome.

Kearney RV Park and Campground, Kearney, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent RV park with large, long pull through sites, each with a 40' concrete slab. Price was a little steep for one night passing through, but well worth the expense. Sites were perfectly laid out for my 40' rig with tow. Temps reached 100 degrees while we were there and had no powere problems at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again when in the area. Also, easy off and on to the interstate. We camped at Kearney RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Hill's RV Park & Campground, Plankinton, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely nice rv park right off I 90. All sites are long and level pull through, with plenty of room between each. Park was almost empty when we were there, only 19 campers. We found the park on the Passport America web page, but did not see any signs or other information about the park. This is a GEM that people should take note of. We had a great stay, unhooked our auto for a drive to nearby Mitchell to visit the Corn Palace and stores. If you are in the area, you must stay at Hills RV Park. We camped at Hill's RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

SPECTACULAR... no other words are necessary. We have been RVing for 17 years and this is the best place we have ever been. Beautiful, level concrete slab sites, tremendous amenities, and fantastic scenery. We camped at Hart Ranch Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Terry Bison Ranch Resort, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Some what rough getting into the park, but sites were long enough for my 40' MH pulling a car. Site 91 was narrow, but nice and level. Many things to do, especially for kids. Almost a zoo. Nice store and restaurant. Rides for kids looked a little dated... and maybe not safe. They were not running when we were there. Overall, a great place to stay for a night or two, ten miles or so to downtown Cheyenne which is a very nice town. We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Motorhome.

Timberline Campground, Waukee, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful setting and close to metro Des Moines. Four miles to a spectacular shopping mall. However, if you need a full service pull-through site you will be very disappointed. Sites are short and extremely close to each other. If you have slides on both sides, good luck. We had trouble leaving in the morning due to autos and pick ups blocking our exit. If not for a good Samaritan, we could not have left. Water/electric sites are large and open. We camped at Timberline Campground in a Motorhome.

D & W Lake Camping and RV Park, Champaign, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with wide pull through sites lone enough for a forty footer with a tow. Good power and wifi in a very pleasant setting. Nice lake on site. Only problem was spacing of sewer location. We camped at D & W Lake Camping and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spring Valley Campground, Cambridge, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground just off the interstate. Site for my 40' MH was more than adequate. Recreation area of the park i is spectacular, especially the lake, which must be stocked. Good fishing. Only problem was the rough road going in and the deplorable interior roads. Diagonal speed bumps are not friends to dishes in an RV. We camped at Spring Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best rv resorts I have been to. Nice level sites with 50 amp service. Back in sites are tight for large rigs, but pull thru sites are available. Many great amenities, many activities. Great place for a few days or a few months. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice and comfortable campground right off the interstate. Friendly and accommodating staff. A great place to stay if you are visiting the area or just passing through. Excellent and free Wi-Fi, nice level sites. We stayed here with out 40' MH towing an auto and had no problems. We will stay here again. Highly recommended. Pacific Dunes Ranch and RV Resort, Oceano, California

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice campground adjacent to the Ocean Dunes State Recreation Area. About a half mile hike to the beach over the dunes, but much easier to drive through town and then drive on the beach. Much to do in the area in nearby Pismo Beach and Grover Beach. The sites are level and large enough for my 40' motorhome with many pull through sites and back-ins available. Not such a good place to stay if you are just passing though for one night since it is some distance off highway 101. We camped at Pacific Dunes Ranch and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails - Palm Springs RV Resort, Palm Desert, California

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

An absolutely beautiful place with campsites laid out in a date palm orchard. Some sites are very tight, but we found a large and long pull through site that we enjoyed. Some noise from nearby I-10 and a railroad across the highway, but it didn't bother us. Lots to do in the area, and the winter weather is spectacular. Very friendly staff and many activities in the park. Nice swimming pool, family lodge, and other facilities. This is a membership campground, and we stayed here as members. We camped at Thousand Trails - Palm Springs RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Arizona Oasis RV Resort , Ehrenberg, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

A nice place to stay when traveling on I-10 through Arizona and California. Long and wide pull through sites for my 40' motorhome pulling a toad. Hook ups are a little awkward being towards the front of the site, but my 25' long electric cable was just enough. This is a membership campground and we camped here with our ROD membership. The $5 fee I paid was for very good cable TV and Wi-Fi. Very friendly and helpful staff who will go out of their way to help if you have a problem: which I had. We camped at Arizona Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This place has everything, almost. Our site was large, level with 50 amps and cable TV. Our only problem was Wi-Fi arrangement which required a phone hook-up. This is fine for snow birds spending the season, but not so good for folks staying for a day or two. Activities and facilities are tremendous. No one can get bored at this place. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We will stay here again. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
