Carlsbad RV Park and Campground, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park is showing signs of aging and disrepair. The price however reflects a higher quality park. I guess they are using the Cavern visitors as a means of support. A number of full-time residents inhabit the facility. The laundry facility was "clean" but felt unkempt. The sites are all dirt and difficult to ascertain the markings. The staff was less than friendly. I will not stay here again. Nor will I recommend this to others. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Fort Amarillo RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our 2 night stay was very good. The staff was professional and courteous. Each space is separated with a short picket fence so you felt like you had your own area. A large pad with pick nick table was at each site. A parking area was set aside for your tow vehicle (we did not have to park at the rear or front, although we could have). I was pleased enough to recommend this park to anyone. We camped at Fort Amarillo RV Resort in a Motorhome.
