RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino, Corning, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great park for the overnighter. Just off the freeway but very quiet. The casino is a walk away but they do have a shuttle. Good restaurant choices in the casino which appear popular with the locals. We camped at RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino in a Motorhome.

Seven Feathers RV Park, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful resort style park. Especially clean with great sites and amenities. Each site has a picnic table and great hook-ups with two choices for your sewer dump. Staff is very nice and helpful and so is the grounds staff It is part of the casino complex so restaurants and entertainment are available as well as gambling. We found they had entertainment at least 5 nights a week and bring in "name" entertainment on some weekends. We have been here several times and will return. We camped at Seven Feathers RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great place for walking and if you have a dog they have dog areas as well. Casino entertainment is excellent and they have some great pie at the Kabi Café for a reasonable price. Roseburg is about 25 miles away if you need city amenities.

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Relatively new park with several pull through sites available. Sites are long and roomy. Concrete pads and excellent hook-ups. Since the park is new, the trees are young so not much shade available. Excellent WiFi. Will stay here again on our next trip. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sac West RV Park and Campground, West Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

Decent park and well located to do the area. Sites are narrow but acceptable. Pads are gravel and power is good. Busy park with large play area, food wagon and tent area. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The previous campers in our site were a bit sloppy, leaving bottle caps and other small debris which we cleaned up as we noticed. This is a former KOA. We camped at Sac West RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Levelland RV Park, Levelland, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice free park south of town. Around 6 sites, long pull thru sites with water and power. There is a dump station available. The park is free for up to 3 days after which you can extend and pay a fee. Great place for an overnight and we used it for 2 days as we visited a friend. Our only complaint is that previous campers have a tendency to drop cigarette butts and other trash on the ground which makes it a little messy. We camped at Levelland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park and well located for activities downtown. The sites are gravel surrounded by lawn. Several pull through sites, all with excellent FHUs. Plenty of room to park your toad or tow vehicle. Wifi was just upgraded and is excellent. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of shade but I was still able to get a good sat connection. Park is well maintained and very clean.

The park gives directions if you call. If coming from the north take I35 to I37 and then take exit 135. Your GPS will give you other directions and you would be wise to avoid them as the suggested route is not favorable to RVs. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The RV Park of Henderson, Henderson, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Certainly not a destination park, but certainly great for a night or two. The owner is very friendly and although very spartan, the park has large sites, plenty of space between sites with gravel pads and grass for each site. As a previous posted stated, the electrical boxes are installed in such a way that it is difficult to plug in and probably impossible to plug in a portable surge protector. Would stay here again. We camped at The RV Park of Henderson in a Motorhome.

Campground at Barnes Crossing, Tupelo, Mississippi

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Just off the Trace and a nice place to stay as you visit the Presley birthplace. It is hilly but we had no problem getting level. Don't count on Satellite reception, lots of trees. We did get reception from site 46, but our travelling partner in 44 did not. Close to services, and a pleasant and attractive campground. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for two weeks as we visited friends and enjoyed the Nashville area. The park is very well maintained and the utilities are good. (No breakers at the electrical pedestals.) Sites are level and many are shaded. Satellite reception will be iffy for many sites although we made an easy connection. Sites are close together but still provide privacy.

Music is provided on many nights and there is a shuttle into the city, but we chose to drive in as this park is so well located. Just minutes from Opryland and only about 12 miles to Broadway. The management and staff are top notch and friendly. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Parking in Nashville can be expensive so here is my suggestion when visiting Broadway or the Hall of Fame. There is a large church parking lot behind a church on the corner of 5th and Broadway. Short walk to the action and the cheapest parking we found.

Small park in a quaint Amish community. Sites are level and utilities are excellent. Sites are on a grass field, about half of which are pull through. Used the park to visit friends nearby and would return. Payment is cash or check and is made at a pay station. Wifi is excellent. We camped at Hitchin' Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whistle Stop RV and Antiques, Colby, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Good for an overnight. Walmart next door was convenient. Sites are wide but lots of wind blown trash and messes from previous campers. Staff should police the sites every day and that would help. Don't stay in site 2 as the hook-ups are too far away. Despite all this, I would stay again if needing an overnight stay that is safe. We camped at Whistle Stop RV and Antiques in a Motorhome.

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Good for an overnight. BBQ restaurant on site which smelled good but we didn't try it. Had a miserable time getting level in S12 and had to move to another site S2 which was OK. You will have trouble levelling in the back section. Trees could be trimmed and in many sites sat coverage will be blocked. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.
