Bear Paw RV Park II (Adults only), Valdez, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This place is tight and too expensive. The location is very nice with level sites and utilities in good working order. If possible you want site 1 thru 10 which are not nearly as tight as the others around the curve. We enjoyed our stay but the site we had in the far corner was really tight. we camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Bear Paw RV Park II (Adults only) in a Motorhome.

Mariner Park, Homer, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

What a great place to spend some time if you don't need hook-ups. Beautiful view overlooking the bay and mountains. Sites are narrow---However slides can be let out without any issues. The far end of the spit is less than three miles from this the first campground on the right side. Overall it was quiet during our stay that did include a weekend. We camped in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Mariner Park in a Motorhome.

Pioneer Park, Fairbanks, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This is a parking lot that has spaces for RV camping at each end. They do have potable water available if needed. This area is noisy till later in the evening with traffic. Several grocery stores are within 2 miles. We stayed here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Pioneer Park in a Motorhome.

Haines Hitch-Up RV Park, Haines, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

This is a well kept park in a great location. The sites are level with the utilities in the correct area. Look I like this campground but it's to expensive in my opinion. The dog area is outside their fence along a pretty busy road. My only problem is why do campers get put next to each other when there are open spacious everywhere? We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Haines Hitch-Up RV Park in a Motorhome.

Toad River Lodge & RV Park, Toad River, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects discount and exchange rate. We had a pull thru level site with the utilities in the proper area and in good working order. They also have free firewood for their guests. This area was loaded with moose and bear. We had a great stay and enjoyed the area. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Toad River Lodge & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Water, 30 amp and a dump station all for $10.00. The park needs some love but for a night it is great. There is a park down a small hill with all sorts of playground equipment for children. We camped at Phillipsburg City Park in a Motorhome.

Riverview Campground, Waco, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Staff who checked us in was awesome. She gave us so many ideas on where to go to take in the surrounding area. I really wanted to like this park but it didn't fulfill our needs. I don't like dogs roaming freely and owners not cleaning up after them. We had power issues 111 volts on each side when the park added a few new campers. The campground could use some good old fashioned care. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. PS: The day we left our neighbor who was a long term camper cleaned up in front of their and our coach a full large kitchen bag of her dogs waste---disgusting. We camped at Riverview Campground in a Motorhome.

RV Haven Park, College Station, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very close to Texas A&M. The park has full hookups that are placed in an ok spot for connections. The park can be a swamp when it rains with standing water everywhere. I felt the price was to high and not as tidy compared to other local campgrounds. We camped here in a 40" motorhome. We camped at RV Haven Park in a Motorhome.

Riverway RV Park, Llano, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This park could be such a gem. The people running the park are such nice people. The WIFI worked well as did the utilities which are placed at the proper location. Laundry room was super clean with nice machines. The problem as stated by other people was the burrs that are everywhere in the park. It was necessary to clean our dogs paws after every run to the tune of at least 50 total burrs. Why not build a dog run and plant some grass? I really liked this park, however the burrs will keep me from ever coming back. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are level and long enough to park a toad. (We are 40 feet.) Utilities are placed properly and worked well. They have a small café on the property that serves good food. I feel a little love on the overall park could go a long way. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rio Grande Village Campground--No Hookups (NPS Campground), Big Bend National Park, Texas
