Overall Rating:

Overall a nice park with fairly level sites. Roads and sites are gravel. Hookups are in the proper locations. Friendly park workers who were helpful in getting us to the best sites to see for our 40-footer. We camped at Deer Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Custer's Gulch RV Park, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Site was not very level. The hookups were all in the proper location. Staff was friendly and check in was fine. The Wi-Fi was horrible. I will never stay here again because of the Wi-Fi. I could not even hookup, this is not right. Either you have Wi-Fi or you do not. We camped at Custer's Gulch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Custer State Park - Legion Lake Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are asphalt and level. The campsite area and Legion Lake area was easy to navigate even with a 40' motorhome and toad. Camp host was great and very helpful. This is the finest state park I've been in ever. (40 states) I can't wait to come back. We camped at Custer State Park - Legion Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Park is gravel with fairly level sites. The middle of the park is for permanent residents only. I felt like the park grounds need a good going over. Park is located about 40 minutes from the Rocky National Park. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Mesa Verde RV Resort, Mancos, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Park is about a 1/2 mile out the front gate of Mesa Verde. Park was clean and in good shape. Our site slanted pretty hard to one side. We used 5 blocks of 2X10's on both right side wheels to level. Internet was not good unless we went to the office/laundry area. This is a real pain in our opinion. Either you have Wi-Fi to be used at the sites, or you do not. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Wolf Creek Run Class A Motorcoach Resort, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The owners of this park are hands on. They paint, plant shrubs, clean, you name it. Friendly beyond words. This is our favorite park in almost 2 years of fulltiming. The deck on the back of the lobby is huge. I would guess there is seating for almost 70 people and lots more space for standing. Hot tub, laundry, and showers were immaculate. They had 2 dinners in our 7 day stay. They supplied fish, tater tots and coleslaw along with desert for one dinner. They supplied pasta, garlic bread, and desert for another. We were asked to bring a drink and side dish. This resort makes you feel like your home with friends. Thanks for a great week. We camped at Wolf Creek Run Class A Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Coffee Creek RV Resort, Santo, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The hosts at this park are the nicest people we have met in 1 1/2 years of fulltiming. We were escorted to our site and the host made sure everything worked. The campground is new and has basically no shade trees. Sites are level and hookups worked great. Showers and laundry rooms were spotless. Overall park is quiet and well kept. Small dog run is also available. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed on a river site for 3 weeks. Behind our 42' motor home was approx. 100 yards of grass with swings and benches under large trees leading to the river. This setting was fantastic. Water pressure was very high. Shower and bathrooms were well kept. There is a pool for adults only, with steam room, sauna and whirlpool. There is a pool also available for children and families. Resort was well maintained and staff very helpful. We had a problem come up and had to leave a week early so they pro-rated us at the monthly rate. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great location to tour local area. Park was quiet and well kept. Sites are sand and gravel which results in more cleaning of the motorhome. Airport is out your front door and can be somewhat noisy (we had site 89). Water pressure was great and trash cans are at the end of the sites. Overall a nice stay, but I just felt like something was missing. We camped at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park in a Motorhome.

Parkview Riverside RV Park, Concan, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

The park workers and guests are extremely friendly and everyone is having a good time. The view of the Frio River and Old Baldy Mountain are just fantastic. Not all sites are river viewable, however, there are several ways to get down to the river. The closest good grocery store is about a 25 minute drive. This park is very quiet and great for viewing wildlife. Restrooms and laundry rooms are kept very clean and have easy access from anywhere in the park. The site pads are sand and small gravel which can make for a mess in your car or motorhome (when wet). We spent over a month in a 40' motorhome and would gladly come back for a longer "Winter Texan" stay. We camped at Parkview Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.
