Umatilla Marina and RV Park, Umatilla, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is in great shape. Sites are level and plenty big for your big rig and a toad. Lots of areas to walk your dog and enjoy the Columbia River. Hook-ups are located in the proper place and all worked great. This is a gem of a campground. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Umatilla Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site, Mt Vernon, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small campground with water, power and a dump station. Sites are level with some being a little tight with trees and boulders. The hook-ups worked well and are placed in the proper area. This fills up early and has a constant stream of campers trying to get a site till around 7. They do have an overflow area for $10 a night. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site in a Motorhome.

I like this campground. It's WIFI worked fine and the sites are level with hookups in good working order. This campground is very easy to get around in and has sites for every size. The dog area is huge and well cared for. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mounthaven Resort, Ashford, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived a day early and they helped us out by getting us a site. We moved to our real site the next morning and everything was great. The sites are pine needles and not very level which makes for leveling problems and standing water after it rains. Most sites are surrounded by huge old trees. The next night the park lost power for approx. 4 hours. We didn't have power, however our neighbor did. I was told it was probably my rig but they would check it out. Turned out to be a bad site breaker. Was told they would replace it but no one did so we had on and off power all night. We left the next morning at 11:00 and still no fix to our problem. Just horrible service. We camped at Mounthaven Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Louise Trailer Campground - Electric Hookups (Parks Canada), Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This park is over priced for what it offers. The sites are very close together and the layout is not the best. Electric worked fine and was placed in an OK place. We camped at Lake Louise Trailer Campground - Electric Hookups (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Whistlers Campground (Parks Canada), Jasper National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I really enjoyed this park. The site areas are semi- mowed in an area big enough to keep the mosquito's down. We had Elk in the campground every day. One day we had a bear pass through. The folks who were our neighbors were really nice. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Whistlers Campground (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Steamboat Rock State Park, Electric City, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park has almost no shade trees and lots of mosquito's. When you park your camper be sure to hang to the passenger side to avoid the stones on the driver side. These stones make it difficult to get around your camper to hookup your utilities. With the lake right there it offers great boating for everybody. I was surprised to find most of the people camping not very friendly. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Steamboat Rock State Park in a Motorhome.

Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground - Full Hookups (Parks Canada), Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Overall a nice park with half moon shaped parking pullouts. Great place to view the mountains around Banff. Utilities worked fine and are spaced in the right area. Park is kept fairly nice and the rangers are not real helpful. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground - Full Hookups (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Townsite Campground (Parks Canada), Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Park has great views of mountains around the area. Sites are not the most level I ever had but do work. Just outside the park you can see black bears on both sides of the highway. Water and electric worked just fine, however the sewer connection is in the middle of the gravel site and not at all easy to get to. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Townsite Campground (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Columbia Falls RV Park, Columbia Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Front office lady can be a little bit of a pain. However the park is well maintained and has a good dog area. Most sites are pull through with easy access and level. WIFI was non-existent no matter the time. This park is busy with no vacancy most nights. It's about a 20 minute ride to the west entrance of Glacier. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Do not miss Perfect Cuts meat market next to the campground. Some of the finest meats in the USA. If you need your dog cared for call Triple R kennels--5 minutes from park. This kennel made us feel so reassured that our dog got the best care possible. We do not like to leave our dog but they made it much easier. Both of the businesses are a credit to their community.

Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground, Ronan, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This park is so well kept by the owners. Large trees around sites, however the sun can still get through--which I like. Utilities were in the correct location and in good working order. Sites are close but are angled to give good privacy. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Overall this is a decent campground. Campground roads and parking sites need a new layer of gravel. The workers and owners were extremely helpful and polite. Price is a little stiff for this campground. The location is near Little Big Horn which was nice. Our rig is 40' long. We camped at Hardin KOA in a Motorhome.

Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l Park / Juniper Campground, Watford City, North Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This campground could use some tree trimming so larger rigs like our 40-footer could use the facilities. I loved this area and found the park to be nice. Sites are large but limbs make them not available for most units. We camped at Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l Park / Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.
