Milton/Madison SE KOA (formerly Hidden Valley RV Resort & Campground), Milton, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

For this price I would expect paved roads and sites, free internet (only Tengo for 1 hour was provided) and cable TV. Also, why don't RV parks plan sites so you get shade from your awning in afternoon? This place had lots of amenities for families with kids, but not as good for older folks as some we've been to. I was disappointed after driving so far. We camped at Milton/Madison SE KOA (formerly Hidden Valley RV Resort & Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

4 Paws Kingdom Campground and Dog Retreat, Rutherfordton, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Great place for dogs - large off leash areas, hiking trails, ponds, etc. Sites are more rustic than some parks, although have all amenities. Cable limited and poor reception, WiFi limited. Owners are great. We camped at 4 Paws Kingdom Campground and Dog Retreat in a Travel Trailer.

Anchor Down RV Resort, Dandridge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

This is by far the nicest RV park we've stayed at in our 4 years of RVing. It is not cheap, but everything you could ask for. Sites are all concrete, large and level. WiFi is typically slow but all other utilities are good, although cable is limited. Park is on a hill and sites are terraced so you can see the lake from almost everywhere. Like all parks they ask you to pick up after your dog, but unlike most, they have cans for the poop bags and new bags. The pool is nice and there is a beach and dock along with a boat ramp. The bathrooms are all private and complete with shower, sink and toilet. Staff was very friendly upon checking in. Web site was great for making reservation and you could pick your site. We will definitely stay again. We camped at Anchor Down RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort), Lebanon, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This park has a long way to go to get up to most KOA standards. I had hoped that the earlier reviews from last year would be out of date and the place would be better. There are some junk RV's here. The sites are small and not level. Gravel driveways and sites. The place just looks junky. No cable. WiFi is good. We came because of a mailer giving 25% off and booked 2 nights. Wish we had only booked one. We camped at Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Pecan Grove RV Park, Lake Village, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This park doesn't live up to the Good Sam rating of 9.5 in appeal. It is badly in need of gravel for the sites and roads as all was muddy. We were going to stay more than one night but continued on after one. I guess if you like fishing it would be great. We camped at Pecan Grove RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Texarkana KOA, Texarkana, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This place is not up to normal KOA standards. We made an on-line reservation and have a KOA card which should entitle us to the best available site. Our site was the first one on coming into the park - noise, traffic and small. I asked if there wasn't anything farther back, and was told no. When will park owners figure out that water does not run uphill - our sewer was uphill from the trailer. It was also so far away that my hose wouldn't reach - had to spend $46 for more hose and attachments.

We were going to spend more than one night, but left in the morning after only one night. We camped at Texarkana KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Wichita Falls RV Park, Wichita Falls, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Large park that has a somewhat run down look with what seems like a big number of permanent sites and residents. Large sites and good utilities including wifi. Gravel sites with concrete pad - strange layout which required putting truck in back of trailer Friendly staff. We camped at Wichita Falls RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a first class park with lots of big sites and good utilities. They lead you to your site and even spray the hose outlet with bleach to help sanitize it. You can tell the owners care about this place. We camped at Carlsbad KOA in a Travel Trailer.

What a nice treat to find this park. Friendly staff. Large gravel sites, pull throughs with good utilities. Good cable. Work out room, & laundry. Lots of space to walk and let dogs run. Not crowded when we were here. You can hear traffic noise, but not too close. Good value. We camped at Broke Mill RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Huge park. Pull through site we were given was way too small for what we expected by the ratings this park had. Has more stuff than we want, but we do like a little space without having our neighbors right under our windows. We were prepared to stay longer than what we reserved, but will not due to the site size. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
