Morro Strand RV Park, Morro Bay, California

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in Park 1 which had some really wide sites to accommodate double slides and boat/trailer storage. Their sites are level, covered with crushed gravel and all had their utilities working as they should (though some of the sewer connections couldn't be secured properly?). All sites had 50 amp service available.
Their bathrooms and laundromat ($2 wash/.75 dry) were kept clean. Unfortunately they only offer 27 TV channels, but satellite reception was great. Found their internet way better than in most parks.
Located just two blocks from the beach and only a short driving distance to shopping in M/B and SLO. And as well so are Montana de Oro State Park, the Cayucos and Pismo Beach piers, and Hearst Castle just a short drive. Would suggest making a reservation as this park is often full. We camped at Morro Strand RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rancho Colina, Morro Bay, California

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $580.00
Overall Rating:

I've stayed here a number of times and have submitted good reviews about this park in the past. All of the services, except for the very weak internet, worked well and their facilities are kept somewhat clean. Access to the park off the freeway is easy and the sites, all back in, are big rig friendly with room for slides.

Unfortunately, this time I had the misfortune of having someone move in next to me who's dog continuously left little presents in my site. After complaining twice to the management and the problem not being resolved in any way I left for a more suitable park, just down the same road towards the beach.

This used to be a nice place to stay in, unfortunately the managements perspective of what their customers are entitled to seems to have drastically changed, very much for the worse. We camped at Rancho Colina in a Motorhome.

Shoreline RV Park & Campground, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Wow, looks all new and spiffy! And the lady in the office was pleasant and helpful...great start.

Unfortunately after getting checked in and the RV connected I noticed my site had a lot of goose and seagull droppings on it. Yuk... threw the door mat out when I left.

The hook-ups all worked fine, though the TV channel selection was limited. Their laundromat was a nasty looking place with old worn machines scattered haphazardly. The one down town was good.

Should also mention, for any light sleepers like myself, that this park is right on the town's emergency vehicle response route. We camped at Shoreline RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Rancho Colina, Morro Bay, California

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 4 months this past winter. Found the manager very professional and helpful with local knowledge. The park, laundry and restrooms were kept clean and well maintained. Their Wi-Fi worked very well, though because it's billed directly from their provider, it did cost a little extra. Also found the semi-permanent residents very friendly and they kept their sites tidy with different types of cactus and statues. Charming place I thought… all in all a reasonably priced, friendly and quiet RV park. We camped at Rancho Colina in a Motorhome.
