Bristol / Kingsport KOA, Blountville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful location. Great signage directing you to and from Interstate. No road noise. Great view of mountains all around. Nice cafe and well stocked shop. Very friendly staff. Upgraded me for free to a great site which had a wooden patio and furniture. Level gravel pads which are well spaced. Definitely recommend this for overnight or vacations. We camped at Bristol / Kingsport KOA in a Motorhome.

Baileyton KOA (formerly Baileyton RV Park), Greeneville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is just a field with gravel sites. The sites are very close together. There are no escorts to the sites. It rained while we were here and the park became a mud pit. There are full hook-ups and clean restrooms, but it still remains just gravel sites in a field. Many of the sites are taken by permanent residents. It is easy access to and from the interstate. It is acceptable for overnight stay but not a site for vacationers. There are many other parks close by that offer a much better experience. We camped at Baileyton KOA (formerly Baileyton RV Park) in a Motorhome.
