South Prairie Creek RV Park, South Prairie, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I spent a week and a half here and enjoyed it. The owner and people working at the park were friendly and helpful. I think this is the best park in the south sound area and will stay there whenever I visit the area. They have a large gravel pull through section with full hookups, its gently sloped back to front and fairly level but un-landscaped, no picnic tables. The store is pretty well supplied. Spots along the creek are in the long term section. We camped at South Prairie Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain Home RV Park, Mountain Home, Idaho

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I really like this park. It's clean, neat, and orderly, well laid out, with concrete pads and curbs, thoughtfully planned utility area, and very nice owners and hosts that make you feel right at home. The only thing that prevented my giving this a 10 was the lack of sand, surf, and palm trees. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $42.00

Unplanned stop due to the weather at the end of March. All gravel, roomy, not very level. An ok park in a pinch. The TV antenna only picked up two channels and both were PBS. Costliest stop on my journey. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Stopped overnight at the end of March. Their summer services are not yet open, but an interesting place still. Nice people and very nice facilities. A big store on site with gifts, clothes, and food items. I want to come back some day in the summer. We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Pointe RV Resort, Canyon Lake, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

I'm a member and stored my RV on site for several years in the storage lot and spent a lot of very pleasant time here in the summers. Membership cost is modest and includes over two months of camping in any available spot, some pull through, some full service, and some with w+e but honey wagon service. The two pools, one adults only, are great on those hot Texas summer days! The rec building has a pool table, TV room, one room library, more showers, and an exercise room available for all guests, as well as a good section of Canyon Lake shoreline for walking and fishing. Lots of friendly people here, and bring some feed for the deer: they love to wander the grounds looking for hand outs and many will eat out of your hand. Lake Point is a member owned, non-profit, and a real bargain. We camped at Lake Pointe RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
