Prophetstown State Park, West Lafayette, Indiana

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

A great place but there is no shade as the park is only 5 yrs young. Level gravel sites. Call for directions because the GPS does not give you accurate directions. Really nice place with a bike and walking trail. Close to Purdue University. Site 120 is a pull thru really nice but a ways from the bath house and playground. If you want to be close to these two try section 200. We camped at Prophetstown State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lazy Day Campground, Danville, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

I think the nightly rate is around 28 dollars but not sure because we camped with a group and they gave us a group rate. Its off of exit 170 on I 70. Nice person runs the place always around making sure things are okay. Sites are gravel and it was easy to get level. There were some areas that were washed out on the road but if you drove slow it was no problem. This is not a destination place but a good overnight for a day or two. We camped at Lazy Day Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Spring Mill State Park, Mitchell, Indiana

I was at site 10. Electric and water can be difficult to reach. Large park and campsites can be difficult to find. Overall a very pretty place but sites can be unlevel. We camped at Spring Mill State Park in a Travel Trailer.
