Oak Glen RV & Mobile Home Park, Chandler, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Internal roads are wide, gravel and a bit rough, our site was gravel, others are concrete, mostly level (needed to lift the front of the fiver with the jacks, but could remain hitched), facilities worked well and are located at the side of the site, site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, park WiFi is secured and worked well, T-Mobile and Tracfone cell service was fair to good 4G. The park was quiet and is good for an overnight stop. We would stay here again. We camped at Oak Glen RV & Mobile Home Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Justin's Diamond J RV Park, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Internal roads are wide and paved, sites are gravel, mostly level (needed one leveling board), about 2000 sqft in size and fairly easy to back into, facilities worked well, but are located at the back of the site so you will need longer cords/hoses, site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly but deal with Christine (owner), park WiFi is free and works best in the early morning or very late at night, otherwise it can be very slow and weak. It's best to bring your own internet solution, T-Mobile cell service was fair to good 4G, same for Tracfone. They do have some activities but not a great abundance like some other parks. The park was very quiet. We stayed here for Feb/Mar again this year and plan to return for Feb/Mar next year. We camped at Justin's Diamond J RV Park in a Fifth Wheel. El Dorado Mobile Estates, Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The nightly rate is based on the weekly rate, $200/wk + tax. This park is basically a mobile home park, but the residents were friendly. The internal roads are wide and paved, sites are gravel/concrete, our site had a steep incline at the curb we had to back over and the underside of the trailer just touched the pick up box (no damage), as well it was very tight to back into (35 foot Titanium fiver), otherwise it is level. Facilities worked well, but are located at the back of the site so you may need longer cords/hoses, site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, and escorted us to the site and assisted in backing in. There is no park WiFi, but apparently there is WiFi in the clubhouse. T-Mobile cell service was fair, Tracfone service was good. The transient sites (there are only a few) are along the road, behind a wall, so there was a fair bit of road noise. We would stay here again. We camped at El Dorado Mobile Estates in a Fifth Wheel.

BLM - La Posa Long Term Visitor Area, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $6.00
Overall Rating:

This was our 8th time. As mentioned by others it is still $40 for 2 weeks, the Volunteer staff are friendly, there is lots of room and areas where you can avoid the ATV's dust. This is not glam-ping it is camping. We stayed for only 1 week so therefore about $6/nt. Lots of firewood for sale so build your own fire pit and enjoy. We will be back next year. We camped at BLM - La Posa Long Term Visitor Area in a Fifth Wheel.

Catalina Spa RV Resort, Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Internal roads are wide and paved but their speed bumps are brutal, sites are gravel/sand, our site was not level (needed 2 leveling boards) and fairly easy to back into, facilities worked well and are located towards the back of the site so you will need longer cords/hoses, site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly and escort you to the site. There is no free park WiFi, I was told Apple products had a hard time connecting to the paid WiFi, T-Mobile and Tracfone cell service was fair to good 4G. The park was quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at Catalina Spa RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Internal roads are gravel, sites are sand, mostly level and fairly easy to pull into, facilities worked well, and are centrally located. We were escorted to our site. You set up and then pay. Site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, park WiFi is free/secured and worked very well. T-Mobile/Tracfone cell service was fair to good 4G. The park was quiet. We would stay here again. Arizona Charlie's Las Vegas RV Park, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Internal roads are wide and paved, sites are concrete, level and ours was pull through, facilities worked well, and are located mid-site. Site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, park WiFi is OK but varies depending on time of day. T-Mobile cell service was fair to good 4G LTE. The park is not quiet. Airplanes, helicopters, sirens, vehicle traffic both inside and outside the park at all hours. My extended awning would have just missed the RV next to me. They have 24 hour security on bicycles. So we felt fairly safe. We would probably stay here again. We camped at Arizona Charlie's Las Vegas RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Laughlin / Avi Casino KOA, Laughlin, Nevada

Overall Rating:

Internal roads are wide and gravel, sites are gravel and of the "Buddy" type, level and easy to pull into, facilities worked well, and are located at the side of the site but we had to use a longer sewer hose, site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, park WiFi is free and useless, T-Mobile cell service was fair to good 4G LTE. The park was quiet. We would stay here again. Blue Sky RV Park, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Internal roads are wide and paved, sites are generally gravel and not very big, ours was all pavement, level and fairly easy to back into, facilities worked well, site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, park WiFi is free/unsecured and does not work at the site but works well in the clubhouse, T-Mobile cell service was fair to poor. Apparently cell service in Yuma is pretty bad. The park was quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Internal roads are rough gravel, sites are gravel, mostly level pull-thrus, facilities worked well, but are located way to the side of the site, so you will need longer cords/hoses. Site was satellite friendly.

There is a self serve pay spot in the park, or to use a credit card you have to go across the street to check in after you set up. Staff was friendly. Park WiFi is free and worked well most of the time. T-Mobile cell service was fair to good 4G. The park is close to the interstate but tolerable. We would stay here again. Internal roads are wide and gravel, sites are gravel, mostly level (needed one leveling board) and fairly easy to back into, facilities worked well, and located mid-way back, site was satellite friendly. Water pressure is very high so be sure to use a regulator. Staff were friendly, park WiFi is free and worked well most of the time, T-Mobile cell service was good (4G). The park was quiet. Kentucky Horse Park Campground, Lexington, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Internal roads are paved, sites are level, paved (very narrow) and grass, and not very easy to back into as the roads are not real wide, facilities worked well, but are located at the back of the site. Staff were friendly, T-Mobile cell service was good 4G LTE. The park was quiet. For the cost they really should have sewer. We would stay here again. Haas-Cienda Ranch RV Park, Poplarville, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Internal roads are dirt, rough and narrow, sites are grass, mostly level and ours was a pull-through, facilities worked well. Staff were friendly, most of the sites are for permanent residents. The road to the park was very narrow, probably should be a one-way but I didn't see any signs. T-Mobile cell service was good 4G LTE. The park was quiet. We would stay here again. City of Rocks State Park, Faywood, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Internal roads are dirt and winding but easily driven with a big rig, sites are dirt, most were not level and could be a challenge to find a suitable site for a big rig. There are some pull-throughs, ours was level, some sites would not be satellite friendly. Staff were volunteers and not overly helpful, you have to go find a site and then fill out a self registration form (with exact payment amount) and put it in the vault. Hint, pick up the form prior to finding your site so you can fill it out on-site and then walk it back. T-Mobile/Tracfone cell service was non-existent on the North side and fair on the South side. The park was quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at City of Rocks State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
