Once you get past the twisty narrow roads to get to park, lovely lakeside setting, well maintained, large grassy areas and very friendly staff and residents. We had a nice level site with easy utility connections, fair to good water pressure, good park wifi, but weak Verizon signal.

Date of Stay:

Convenient and relatively inexpensive for visiting DC. Our pull-thru site was not level and would require lifting front wheels off the ground to correct. Utility connections were convenient, water pressure was fair to good, good park wifi, very good Verizon 4G service.

Date of Stay:

Attractive location with park sites along wooded river. Our site was level with large grassy area to overlook, utility connections were convenient, water pressure was good until park pump failed (repaired early the next morning), Verizon signal was good.

Date of Stay:

Narrow, hilly, curvy road to park. Back-in grassy site was too slanted to allow us to level without taking wheels off the ground. Utility connections were convenient, water pressure was fair, Verizon cell service was good.

Date of Stay:

Very level drive-thru site with easy utility connections. Park wifi was good, excellent Verizon 4G, but water pressure was poor. Quiet woodland park that backs up to trails through the Woodlawn Museum land. Outgoing and friendly staff.

Date of Stay:

The most spread-out campground we've seen, with huge swaths of grassy meadows offering sweeping views of countryside. Grassy/gravel site was quite level with easy utility connections. Water pressure was good, campground WiFi was good (park was fairly empty), excellent Verizon 4G signal. Interior roads were a bit dusty.

Date of Stay:

Attractively landscaped grassy campground right on the Moose River. Very long pull through with good utility connections. Buddy setup for pull-throughs. Water pressure was good, campground WiFi was good, good Verizon 4G signal. Very friendly staff. Single washer & dryer in laundromat. Very peaceful. Only three 50-amp sites and we snagged one.

Date of Stay:

Attractive campground marked by large swaths of well-kept grassy areas. Sites are on firm grass, long and wide. Utilities are a bit of a reach, needing long power cord run and two fresh water hoses to tie in. Campground WiFi was good with very good Verizon 4G signal. Significant traffic noise from interstate.

Date of Stay:

Well-kept campground with kind of rough gravel roads and large grassy areas. Our site on top of the hill was fairly level and was the only one in the row with sewer. Water pressure was extremely low, wifi was good, Verizon signal was spotty and just barely usable for calls, not for data.

Date of Stay:

Paved roads wander through attractive forest areas, each section named for a prominent tree in that area. Several sizable ponds add to the attractiveness. Site was paved but a little narrow, causing us to exit the motorhome onto the grass/dirt/mud. Utility connections were easy and well-maintained, wifi was very good, very god Verizon signal, and I was able to get a good satellite shot.

This campground is built on a hillside with some fairly steep roads and sites terraced. Gravel pull-thru was pretty level, utility connections were fairly easy, wicked good Verizon signal with tower atop a nearby hill.

Date of Stay:

Long, deep park that extends a good distance from entry road along gravel roads. Mostly grassy back-in site that backed up to a line of trees. Utility connections were fairly easy, site was kind of level, but site was crowned which created a big last step off the RV stairs. Got a good satellite shot.

Lovely farmhouse surrounded by mostly permanent RV sites studded with mature trees. Transient pull-thru sites are very level but next to the road which can be busy at times. Very easy utility connections, very good wifi, good Verizon signal, able to get a good satellite shot from our site.

Date of Stay:

Really attractive park with most sites facing large fishing pond surrounded by farm fields. Level gravel site with mature trees, good sized grass areas between sites, good utility connections, very good wifi, very good Verizon signal.

This campground is named Driftwood, but Google maps lists it by its former name, River Valley. Our site was a long, level cement pad with easy utility connections, good wifi, and very good Verizon signal. Large grassy areas studded with mature trees, and we got a good satellite shot.
