We visited this campground recently, I really just needed a place to park the trailer while we were visiting family. The place is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. The only thing I didn't like was you didn't have a choice in what Amperage hookup you wanted. If your RV has a 50 amp plug then you get charged for a 50 amp hookup. Not really fair, I only need 30 amps to run the fridge and 1 air conditioner if it was really hot. If I wanted to run both ac's, then I would have asked for a 50amp hook up but I don't always need it. This is the only campground and only KOA that has ever had this silly policy. Its not really that big of deal but it just kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

What a nice place to stay. We stayed for a few days and visited Zion National Park. The people that run the campground are very friendly. The spaces are nice pull throughs and have nice big trees all around. I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Wheel-Er In a few years ago. I don't know if the same owners are still here, but it was the worst weekend of camping ever. We spent our weekend being accused, threatened and harassed by these grumpy people. We has some friends that couldn't spend the whole weekend with us, when it was time for them to leave they drove their car in to load their things. The camping space next to ours was vacant so they parked there for only a few minutes to load their things. Before we could even say goodbye, the lady came over yelling at us to get the car moved or we would be charged for the space we were parked in for only a few minutes. The next day someone let their little dog do it's business in front of the RV on the road. The lady from the campground accused my friend in the space next to me that we failed to clean up after our dog. We had a full size dog with us and we always clean up after our pets. Aside from the fact that it was obvious that this mess was left by a much smaller animal. I am sure that I would never stay at the Wheel-Er In ever again, aside from the fact that it is the most cramped campground I have ever been in.
